# Power SlotCard Design purpose of power slot card is to provide multi channel DC-DC coversion to the motherboard system. ## Version 1 Front: ![](https://i.imgur.com/Jgp1Pyx.jpg) Back: ![](https://i.imgur.com/FMiTEZY.jpg) This design used 4 [LM25116 modules](https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.79de2e8dV3BZzn&id=39239041871&_u=ou8rf8024c8) to achevie 4 channel output DC-DC conversion. The module can be adjust to different voltage by turning the variable resistor. Moreover, a [TVS diode](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transient-voltage-suppression_diode) is added to each input and output channel to protect the power channel from transient over voltage. Each output channel is connected to a LED to indicate the on/off state. **Current configuration:** |Channel on motherboard|Voltage| |--|--| |PB3|12V(same module on power slot card)| |PB2|12V(same module on power slot card)| |PB1|9V| |PB5V|5V| |SBC5V|15V| ## Version 2 Front: ![](https://i.imgur.com/4uQr8H0.jpg) Back: ![](https://i.imgur.com/Op4W04t.jpg) This design uses inhouse design buck converter circuit to perform 5 channel DC-DC conversion. The circuit uses 5 [LM25116 Synchronous Buck Controller IC](https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm25116.pdf?ts=1666608832701&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FLM25116%253Futm_source%253Dgoogle%2526utm_medium%253Dcpc%2526utm_campaign%253Dapp-null-null-GPN_EN-cpc-pf-google-wwe%2526utm_content%253DLM25116%2526ds_k%253DLM25116%2526DCM%253Dyes%2526gclid%253DCjwKCAjw79iaBhAJEiwAPYwoCEZle4DjPm_1o_lU5781tBNKTcEC6P9CDDX9oczIZa95q0bsmD9fHhoCbGsQAvD_BwE%2526gclsrc%253Daw.ds) to build 5 sperate buck converter to output 5 power channel. A [TVS diode](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transient-voltage-suppression_diode) is added to each input and output channel to protect the power channel from transient over voltage. The voltage output can be adjust to different voltage by turning the variable resistor. Each output channel is connected to a LED to indicate the on/off state. Moreover, each can be turn on or turn off sperately by pushing the switch on the top of the power channel. **Current configuration:** |Channel on motherboard|Voltage| |--|--| |PB3|12V| |PB2|12V| |PB1|9V| |PB5V|5V| |SBC5V|5.2V|
