## Technical SEO Implementation

**Estimated Raid Start:** December 27

(Updated Jan 10 2022 to include expanded scope for article popularity tracking + design changes)

**Goal:**
Improve visibility and create engagement and trust with a new audience organically over time to increase the breadth and activity of SW DAO's userbase.

This will be achieved by
1) Optimizing the SW DAO Website for technical & on-page seo.
2) Optimizing the existing SW DAO email channel to match the visual identity of the organization.

### Website
Currently a single page React app. This is a significant issue for SEO as search engines can only index the initial view of the site (no "inside" pages can rank for long-tail target keywords).

This can be fixed by serving pages statically so search engines can efficiently index swdao.org & gain organic search engine traffic.

This also achieves:
- Reinforcing your established brand
- Establishing long-term search engine ranking
- Funneling users to Discord & email marketing lists

### Design Changes
- Mock-ups of home, blog, blog article
- Agreed design changes from feedback with team
- Re-create mock-ups in Illustator for future design edit

### Technical SEO

**Development Deliverables**
- Extract Web3 dApp functionality to a new subdomain - app.swdao.org
- Convert remaining React SPA-based pages to Next Static Site Generated architecture to improve search engine indexing
- Implement dynamic routing to serve content from a headless CMS (ButterCMS or StrapiCMS)
- Implement dynamic page template to render title, description, and social graph/twitter card tags on all CMS-driven pages
- Optimize title, description, and social graph/twitter card tags to improve indexing and sharing UX on all static pages
- Ahrefs syndication

**On-Page SEO Deliverables**
- Keyword research and implementation for homepage (DeFi Roboadvisor, SW DAO, others that are discovered during research)
