IOTA Reclaim How-To

What you need to do now:

Make sure you have a new Seed/Account (if you have not done so already)

1. Install Trinity and generate a new seed

• Install Trinity from the official website: https://trinity.iota.org/
• Generate a new seed in Trinity; This seed will be used during the reclaim process, so make sure you double/triple check the characters. A wrong seed and the tokens will be lost forever!

2. Start with the Reclaim Process

• Download the 2.5.7 wallet from here:
  https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases/tag/v2.5.7
• Start it and select "Light Node"
• Use this address for the Host:
  https://nodes.thetangle.org:443/
• Click on START
• Click on Tools > Reclaim tool
• enter your old seed
• enter your new seed (generated through Trinity)
• click CONTINUE
• now the Hash of your "Proof Transaction" will be displayed. Write this down!
• click on PROMOTE
• Once the Proof transaction is confirmed click SUBMIT SEED
• The Reveal transaction hash will be shown. Write this down!
• click on PROMOTE

After the transaction is confirmed a window will show you the address your funds will be send to.

Send both hashes + the address where your IOTA were originally to Antonio Nardella (antonionardella#1010) on the IOTA Discord server.

After that our team will work and add you to the next payout batch with the other users in the #reclaim channel.
