# MetaXelerator (MX) Event Flow
Outline the processes for how the events will flow and create a template for the MX Hosts to run the events. Explore existing local infrastructure (ie events, dev groups, accelerators/incubators, DAOs/projects) and strategize how to tap into those resources.
## Define the following:
**For the IRL events**
- How to become an MX Host
- Who are the ideal candidates to become MX Hosts
- How to organize an MX Event
- Standard funding amount per event
- How many people are required to run a smooth event
- Standard locations to host the events for optimal returns
- How to secure venues
- Venue pitch template (mainly for larger venues)
- What are the right discussion topics for the events
- How should the events be segmented
- Different entry points for varying levels of projects
- How to integrate with existing events and accelerators/incubators
- Incentive model to increase attendance and overall engagement
**General Processes**
- Proposal template for event specs outlining a potential new event for an MX Host to submit.
- What would an MX Sponsorship program look like
- Process for adding other service/grant DAOs/projects to the MX program as supplemental resources for MX Projects going through the program.
- A level progression system with NFTs
- A graduation ceremony with a cert NFT
- How to incorporate and fulfill other DAOs/projects' needs with the MX (ie. scott mentioned getting more pledging MC members)
- Maybe via extra sponsorships
- Explore other incentive models
## Becoming a MX Host
Define the process for becoming an MX host and what the ideal candidate looks like.
**The ideal candidates to host MX Events should be:**
- Outgoing with positive energy
- Organized with operational skills
- marketing/sales/recruitment skills
- Well connected/established within the local area
- Experience organizing/hosting events
**The application process for MX Hosts**
1. Apply with a proposal to the MX DAO
- Include the local city where the event will be held
- Is there an existing local ETH/Blockchain community?
- Are there existing meetups in the area?
- Any existing relationship?
- Are there existing dev groups that can be tapped into?
- Any existing relationship?
- Are there existing local accelerators/incubators?
- Any existing relationship?
2. Proposal is reviewed and voted on by existing MX members
3. Once approved, the new member will have hosting privileges
4. A new proposal must be created for each event, outlining the specs
5. Once approved, funding is distributed to the MX Host
## Organizing an MX Event
MX Events should accomodate a varying degree of attendance and venues.
Create matrices for cross referencing and ultimately expediting the event pop-up process.
### Standard funding amounts
Funding amount should be based on the amount of people potentially attending and the venue cost where the event will be held.
Funding matrix
X + Y = F
X - How many people
Y - Venue price
F - Funding amount
### Choosing a venue
A venue matrix of sorts to act as a quick reference for potential MX hosts.
X + Y = V
X - How many people planning to attend
Y - How much funding for the event
V - The optimal venue type
variables:
- collaboration with existing events, venues and/or accelerators/incubators
- sponsorships
- exta local contributors
#### How to secure venues
Explain how to secure a venue for an MX Event, offer script and/or pitch deck
### Discussion Topics
Create a library of discussion topics for the MX events
### Event Segmentation
Create segmentation templates for breaking up an event with different topics/activities
- General discussion
- Pitches
- Host shilling
- MX recruitment
## Different entry points
Define the different entry points for projects based on their current position in their development roadmap.
examples:
1. A project that already has seed funding can just hire raid guild or another dev guild
2. A project with fully capable devs can just apply for a grant from MC or another grant / venture DAO.
## Integrate with existing events and accelerators/incubators
Define the strategy to integrate with existing local events and accelerators/incubators
## Incentive model
- Get project accepted into the MX program
- NFTs
- Token bonuses (MX Token?)
- DAO memberships (MX Signal DAO?)
- Onboarding for individual contributors to the MetaEcosystem
