### Grants/Sponsorships
Grant Request: 5k DH / 5k MC | 1-5k MGD | 10-50k (moloch) | $1-5k IPFS
- Travis said asking for 5-10k is too small
- Could as for 20-50k to sponsor event and scale program

Grant Purpose: Prize money for pitch competition, expenses to throw an after party and to cover operational costs for the program launch.

Spoke to Justin - The Wednesday the 16th during buidl week would be best day to do it. Could possible work out a cross promo.

### Competition structure
Event positioning: How do we make use of MetaCartel's branding?
- Launch event for MX program, kicking off the actual program for the projects
- Not a mega-round crypto event, but welcoming folks to join the community

Event Details
- Date: 16 Feb (Wed - the day before Buidl)
- Location: ==TBD venue for 50-100pax near City Park/Uptown==
- Attendees: 50
- Pitches: XX -> 30 (Discord) -> 10 (Live) -> 3 (Winners)
- Prizes: $5-10K > $2-5K > $1-2K

Pre-Event Flow (Application):
- Pre-requisites: web3, ETH, DAO, user facing
- Apply by ==TBD Date== & submit a 2-min pitch video
- Shortlist XX applicants for Discord pitches
- Go through Discord judging (Q&A, polls, etc.)
- Actual day pitching

Event Flow:
- 10 Pitches
- Judging ( 50/50 Weighted voting between judges & Discord)
- Award
- Afterparty

Post-Event Flow:
- Program
- Tokenised POAP NFTs can get access to alumni program of some sort

2 minute pitch video submission > discord community prescreen event > semifinals - 1 round to pitch IRL > finalists are chosen by judges and audience poll > Finals - a question round based on the pitch > Winners chosen by the Judges and audience based on pitch + responses (top 3 projects) > receive grant money + admission into the MX Pilot Program

### Longer term
- 'Accelerator' positioning:
- Since this is not a tight accelerator program, how do we brand it in a way where people are not disappointed?
- How do we scale this, while maintaining community values & culture?
- Need to create a Manifesto to start
- Keep it simple, like how MetaCartel does it
