MetaPod is a hybrid accelerator program, inspired by the collaborative energy of MCON, aimed at onboarding and accelerate new DAOs, communities, projects & contributors into the Ethereum ecosystem.

We still don’t know the true power of DAOs, but we are certain they will play a pivotol role in evolving the way we work in the coming years.

Communities Are Difficult to Build

> They often lack the ability to coordinate, are unstainble, and have challenges retaining contributors.

> We beleive that IRL is better, we found this to particularly true at MCON 2021.

Being in the same room is a better environment for learning new things, generating ideas & finding aligned people to create new models together.

**Jeremy:** Is a core contributor to DAOhaus and a member of the MetaCartel, focused on systems design, DAO operations and community engagement.

He's been heading up operations for the MetaPod Launch and designing DAO and community strategies for DAO-to-DAO relations.

**Amos:** Is core contributor at DAOhaus, leading the Rangers (community-side) & supporting the Magesmiths (product) workstreams.

He's been heading up on our comms for MetaPod, event planning & the designing of the Accelerator Program which will follow 2 weeks the IRL event in Denver starting March 7th.

- Helmass: Operations, Coordination, Partnerships / IndexCoop, MetaCartel Grants, GringottsDAO.

- Myself: A born DAOist, proped up by the MetaCartel, RaidGuild, and DAOhaus threading the needle between evangelism and advocacy for the adoption of Web3 technology.

### Voting mechanics (5 min) Gym Qualifers

- All MetaGuides, Sponsors, Allies, Advisors, & Pilot Program Ops roels have 10 votes each, voting will be open during the pitches as well as following the event this weekend. You have until Sunday to get you final votes in (that's 11:59pm MST). Program participants will not be able to vote for obvious reasons. It's is key that you use all 10 of your votes to give the teams presenting the best chance of making it to Denver.

During the week of 28 Jan, we should shortlist 20 participants for Discord shortlisting, filtering out:

Among those that passed the initial filters, we filter out for the top 20 (maximum) for the following criteria:

Problem statement: How valid / big is this problem?
Proposed solution: How suitable is the solution in solving the problem?
Team: Is the team well-suited to executing this?
Pitch: Does the pitch make you feel excited?

Voting mechanics:
- We can create a voting-channel without discussions, but only emoji reactions for the 20 submissions.
- Audience can discuss and hangout in general chat, but voting will be done in the voting channel.
- Submissions with top 10 votes get shortlisted

Instructions for Top 10 winners
- Create 10slides in PDF format for 5 minute pitch (Problem, Solution, Team)
- Send PDF in by 14 February & all slides are final
- Product demo should be pre-recorded as a GIF
