# MetaGuide Flow ###### tags: `MetaCartel` `Internal` ### Stage 1 1. Grantee creates a ticket in the MC discord 2. A private discord channel is automatically created with some intro overview questions 3. Grantee answers the intro questions which will serve as an initial basis for the MetaGuides to decide if they are the right fit for MC. 4. A MetaGuide will claim the ticket in the private channel to either accept or deny the grantee into the next stage. - Reasons for MGs to deny @ Stage 1: - Not based on Ethereum - Not user facing - Requesting over $10k --- ### Stage 2 5. Both the grantee and MetaGuide will connect on a short intro call to discuss the process. - Use **[LettuceMeet](https://lettucemeet.com/)** to coordinate a day/time. 6. The MetaGuide will prompt the grantee to create a short pitch video providing a high level overview of the official detailed forum proposal that will follow. - Can be a video of just their face talking or can have a few slides as a short presentation video. - Video should be an elevator pitch (quick 2 minutes) - Videos should include answers to the following questions: - Why MetaCartel? - How much are you asking for? - How will funds be used? 7. The guide will present the video and any notes to the MC community for review at the next MC townhall meeting (without the grantee present). --- ### Stage 3 8. If given a soft approval by the community, the grantee will then submit the detailed [forum proposal](https://forum.metacartel.org/t/guide-how-to-post-a-funding-proposal/74) 9. The guide will then make sure to bring this forum proposal to the attention of the MC community 10. Feedback should be left on the forum proposal by MC members 11. If the general consensus (in the forum) is in favor of the proposal, the MetaGuide will then schedule the grantee to appear at a MC Town Hall meeting for their official intro and final pitch. --- ### Stage 4 12. If the meeting goes well, the MetaGuide then hands off the grantee to a MC DAO member to be championed in and create the official grant proposal in the DAO. --- ### Stage 5 13. Track KPIs of projects that received grants, explore funding gaps and other needs the projects may have, and look for opportunities to incorporate other verticals in the MG's wheelhouse (doc coming soon).
