A burly brown tom with drooping yellow eyes, a blind left eye, and a scarred face. His lower fangs protrude slightly, becoming more prominent with age. Known for his cunning, unpredictability, and the strange smile he often wore.

In his youth, Lorcan was romantically involved with Lon’s mother. Despite this, he left Rum’s household with a group of loyal followers and joined another family. There, he murdered both the Underboss and the Boss, and secured leadership through violent consolidation—those who opposed him were eliminated by his own cats. While it was not uncommon for siblings to establish power elsewhere, Lorcan’s departure was by a desire to challenge Rum directly.

Upon returning, Lorcan witnessed Lon’s mother with Rum and a newborn kit—Lon. Misinterpreting the scene, he believed she had borne Rum’s child and abandoned him. Unaware that Lon was his own son, Lorcan saw the moment as confirmation that his younger brother had taken everything from him. The resentment solidified, deepening his hatred toward both Rum and Lon.

Lorcan later took a new mate, Cora, whom he treated with indifference.

In one he blocked Rum’s path along a known route and provoked an argument. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, and the two toms struggled until they rolled into the street. A vehicle struck them with full force—Rum was killed instantly by the impact, while Lorcan survived with a deep facial wound and permanent blindness in one eye. He considered Rum’s death deserved.

He later orchestrated the murder of Lon’s children, Aie and Rue, as part of a targeted operation to destabilize the Lon family. Lorcan planted a small group of insiders within Lon’s ranks, instructing them to approach the two siblings—and lure them to a remote rendezvous. The siblings were killed by Lorcan himself, alongside several of his close associates, in a coordinated attack. Their bodies were later discarded at the edge of Lon territory.

After Lon fell ill, Lorcan repeatedly dispatched scouts to gather intelligence. The reports consistently indicated that Lon was in decline—gravely ill and politically isolated. This led Lorcan to lower his guard, believing the threat had passed. Unbeknownst to him, Lon was privately orchestrating a plan to overthrow him. The operation would later be recorded as the LonCan War (See: [LonCan War](https://hackmd.io/@Maltose/B1gU7F0sxg)).

At midnight, Lon led a strike force of 350 cats, in collaboration with the Vick family, and successfully launched a direct assault into the heart of Lorcan’s territory. The Lorcan faction was caught completely unprepared.

Upon realizing that it was Cora who had exposed the defensive gap that allowed Lon’s forces to breach his camp, Lorcan sought her out and executed her without hesitation. He then turned to their only kit, Den, preparing to kill him as well—but was stopped by Lon and BR.

After a prolonged and violent struggle against both Lon and BR, Lorcan was finally pinned and killed by Lon. His life ended beneath the claws of the very tom he had tried to destroy. Lorcan died without ever knowing that Lon was his own son, and that the two lives he had taken—Aie and Rue—were his grandchildren by blood.

A yellow she-cat with tabby stripes and spots, and violet eyes.

She became [Lorcan](#Lorcan)’s mate, at first carrying the dream of building a happy family. But as the days passed, watching Lorcan drown himself in power and revenge, unease grew within her. His neglect cut deeply into her heart. Years went by like this, until the day she saw Lorcan murder [Lon](https://hackmd.io/6ozMzFyDTMq5Z-paDkZgFA#Lon)’s children, Aie and Rue. Her fear climbed to the highest peak—for she realized what awaited her. Murdering a boss’s children, are you joking?

Worse still, Cora was carrying Lorcan’s kits soon after. She had to make a choice for their future. She decided to meet with Lon in secret, offering the life of her unborn kit as her condition: she would help Lon overthrow Lorcan, in exchange for the survival of her child. They cut open their paw pads and pressed them together, swearing a blood oath.

> A blood oath is an extremely solemn pact in their culture, sealed by mingling both parties’ blood. One’s very life serves as the guarantee for this contract, and the side that breaks it shall have their life taken.

Back in her position as Clawhead, Cora commanded her Claws to lower the defenses during Lon’s assault, granting his forces entry into the family’s stronghold. Not long after, Cora—no longer young—faced a difficult labor. Three kits were born, but only one survived. That kit was little blue-gray tom, Cora gave him the name [Den](https://hackmd.io/6ozMzFyDTMq5Z-paDkZgFA#Den-Denny), Her affection for this little kit was no longer the love she had once felt for Lorcan, but the last tangible remnant of a 'happy family' she could hold onto with her battered heart.

Cora already foresaw her fate. When Lon’s army began their advance, Lorcan discovered her betrayal. He found her and Cora still nursed her kit with calm composure, and then they had a fierce quarrel, Lorcan killed the weakened Cora. As Lorcan prepared to “deal with” their only surviving child, Lon and [BR](https://hackmd.io/6ozMzFyDTMq5Z-paDkZgFA#Burrell-BR) arrived just in time, stopped him, and ended Lorcan’s life.

In the end, Den was taken in and raised in Lon's family.
