The king was eating in thhe palace with multiple guests. Salvius and Quintus were lying down near the king. The Britons were praising the food [and] the Roman wine. All of the guests gave praise to the king. Suddenly Bellimicus entered late. "Look! Our shipwrecked sailor enters," said Dumnorix. "Surely you haven't lost another ship." The rest of them made fun of Bellimicus and applauded Dumnorix. Bellimicus however said nothing to Dumnorix, but sat down in silence. The king announced his guests his show. Suddenly dwarves with dancing girls entered and pleased the guests. Then when the king gave his sign, they all walked out. Salvius, who the dwarves did not please, shouted, "This dinner is good. I have never eaten a better dinner. But the bear, which dances, I want to see. That bear pleases me much more than dwarves and dancing girls."
