**DOCUMENTARIES:**

**The New Sound of Music:**
This documentary gave me more knowledge towards the history of electrionic music, it showed how music can be changed using synthesizers and how it was developed in such a way to make it sound unique. after watching this documentary i found out more about how the current EDM or House music was originated and how the synthesizers work.

**Discovering Electronic music:**
This documentary talks about how electronic music is the future music and people will start listening to it more and more as the time ages. each musicians in this documentary talk about different concepts in electronic music and what makes it sound so unique and special.

**Shape of things that Hum:**
This Documentary talked about the classic instruments and the best selling instruments of the 90s, it also talked about how these instruments were used to make synth music. The musicians in the documentary also shows an example of how its made.

# ESSAY
## Computational approaches to sound

I have been making music in garageband, fl studio and ableton, when i saw this option in the list i wondered how p5.js could be used in making music and got interested in this and wanted to learn about it, when i started to learn about the different library and functions i was facinated and started learning more and more about it, i also looked at different peoples work on pr.js which made me more involved in this.

Starting with posters and working all the way up to making a mock piano, i had a lot of fun, and enjoyed finding out what the functions does. i learnt a lot of new things about p5.js and would like to learn more about it, as for my final piano, i could not figure out how to attach the knob to the oscillator, and the sliders as well. I will find out how to do that and finish this project.

Coding needs a lot of patience and time, at a point i felt like giving up but the more tougher it got the more interesting it was so it led me to not give up.

final day we connected our laptops and jammed which was very fun to listen to.

overall, this class was very fun and i learnt a lot.
