MONA and LINCS

This dataset brings together several public art collection in Québec highlighted in the MONA mobile app. This free and open source app transforms the discovery of public art, cultural spaces and heritage sites into a treasure hunt. The MONA database aggregates more than 1500 public artworks by over 750 artists located throughout the province of Québec. It includes a large variety of artistic categories: monuments, sculptures, murales, graffiti art, etc.

MONA is developed by Maison MONA, a cultural non-profit organisation based in Montréal, focusing on making art more accessible through digital tools and methods. Maison MONA is affiliated with the Art et Site research group and the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research at Université de Montréal.
