# Promoting Leo | Accepting Leo Mentors Applications Now!


## AAA Mentoring Program Begins Today!

**Steemleo.com platform started about 2 months already.** The founder, @khaleelkazi, has the goal of creating a platform where people can share and discuss on the topic of investment.

Plesae note that this platform is not a site of investors giving advice on how you should do investment. Passionate investors discuss about the most updated news and their personal opinions on investment.

The @beamentor program is now partnering with the LEO team to further promote Steemleo.com worldwide.

**It is always very exciting for me** to see passionate Steemians getting involved in the mentoring program. This is already our 6th Steem Mentor Team. Our goal is to reach out to new users (outside and inside of Steem) to participate actively in the LEO community. New users need a personal hand of guidance from veteran users to get them engaged and effective in a community quickly.

So far, our mentors in the different Steem Mentor Teams have added great value to the Steem ecosystem in promoting these platforms to new users on Steem.

We are now ready to recruit LEO Mentors.

This is a great opportunity for everyone to work together to grow the LEO community.

### As a mentor, you are a guide, a leader and a teacher.

### The mentee is your student and follower.

## 1. Requirements to be a LEO Mentor

- Leo mentor needs a reputation of **at least 50**
- Leo mentor needs to have **at least 3 Good Blog Posts about investment** on the Steemleo.com Platform.

## 2. A Successful LEO Mentor

- Onboard newcomers to sign into Steemleo.com platform and start getting engaged on the platform.
- Onboard newbies on Steem who have not signed in to Steemleo.com yet to participate on the platform.
- Get your mentee to write an introductory post mentioning you as a mentor for verification.
- The mentee needs to have **5 Blog Posts on Investment** on their dashboard at the end of your mentoring work

## 3. Role of a Successful LEO Mentor

- Reach out to people outside of Steem via social media such as FB, IG, Twitter, Linkedin, etc
- Reach out to potential newbies on Steem and welcome them! Use the #introduceyourself and #introducemyself tags
- @heyhaveyamet helps you discover some amazing newbies every day
- Welcome the newbies! Get to know them. Introduce yourself to them.
- Introduce Steemleo.com to mentees
- Show them how to sign up to the [SteemLeo Platform](https://www.steemleo.com).
- Share with your mentees about the Steemleo site. Let them know why you participate in the Steemleo community and the great purpose it has for you.

## 4. Rewards

Steemleo Team is sponsoring the Leo Mentor Program! You will be rewarded for your hard work.

Each mentor can aim to mentor **10 students** in this 1st Round. We want you to do a great job in guiding your mentees to write 5 Excellent Movie reviews in this Round 1.

### 6. Deadline of Application - August 27, 2019

Hurry, apply today!

The deadline of application will be 7 days from now at the payout of this post.

When the 7 days are up, I will write **another post to guide the recruited AAA mentors** of the specific details so that it will make your work easier!
