--- tags: Summaries --- # [SIGNAL REQUEST] Changing USDC-PSM fees This is a summary of the governance impacts of this signal request from GovAlpha’s perspective: - This is a valid Signal Request. - This SR proposes to increase the [Fee In (`tin`)](https://manual.makerdao.com/module-index/module-psm#fee-in-tin) and the [Fee Out (`tout`)](https://manual.makerdao.com/module-index/module-psm#fee-out-tout) on the USDC-PSM. - There is one poll for each proposed action: - "To which level shall we set the `tin`" - "To which level shall we set the `tout`" - Pros and cons are listed for each proposed action. - The polls are ranked-choice with seven options ranging from 0 (no change) to 50.0 bps (0.5%) plus the `Abstain` option. - The polls will run until September 2, 2022. Provided there is majority for any of the non-abstain options, there will be two separate onchain polls. - This SR has been assigned `High-Impact` based on the methodology listed [here](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/introducing-impact-estimations/14267).
