# MIP4c2-SP33: Amend MIP62 to Allow for Changing Communication Responsibilities

- This subproposal amends [MIP62: Collateral Offboarding Process](https://mips.makerdao.com/mips/details/MIP62). Specifically, this amendment:
- Adds component MIP62c5. This component introduces a "Communication Coordinator" (CC), defines GovAlpha as the new CC, and allows MIP Editors to appoint a new CC without the need of a governance vote.
- Replaces references to GovComms with references to the CC.
- Fixes formatting stuff in the MIP component summary.
- If this subproposal is ratified, [this PR](https://github.com/makerdao/mips/pull/741) will be merged into the MIP repository.
- This proposal has been assigned `Low-Impact` based on the methodology listed [here](https://manual.makerdao.com/governance/off-chain/impact-estimations).
