# Inverse Reagents : Superior Healing Medications
## Abstract
Ever since Fermichem was merged in 2021 and modified in 2022 to remove impurities, inverse reagents have remained. They serve to provide alternative effects for the maker, and reward the maker when they utilize the pH of the reaction properly (or improperly, technically). However, **many chemical products still do not have an associative inverse reagent to go along with their formula.** It's quite a shame too, as more unique inverse reagents can provide new methods of experimentation. Whether it be through combat, healing, or general purposes, these interactions can broaden the options the average chemist has for the crew.
Since inverse reagents are still around, the main goal of these changes is **to assign more unique inverse reagents to chemical products that require at least some work to make.**

### Elaboration
#### This is an effort to add more variety to the existing inverse reagent system within chemistry. Not only should this variety serve to provide additional options for a Chemist to experiment with, they should also broaden the possibilities for already existing strategies.
#### Reagents are not confined to the laws of realism in the game, however loosely tying what the reagent does in real life will serve to provide it more unique functionality. That way, any newer inverse reagents do not necessarily have to follow the "chemical but inverse" direction of some older inverse reagents.

Normal : Oxandrolone
Description : Anabolic steroid that promotes the growth of muscle during and after exercise.
Consumption Rate : 0.4u/tick
OD Threshold : 25u
Inverse Chem % : 30%
pH : 12.2
Overdose : User begins to rapidly cough and vomit up blood, causing disgust and brute damage.
Provides 2+ modifier for exercise and a 25 second increase to exercise status effect.
Side effect per tick on OD has a 70% chance to do nothing. 25% chance to increase body temperature by 30, reduce stamina by 5 and jitter. 5% chance of blood vomit.
Blood vomit deals some brute damage and 3 second paralysis.
### Bamethan
Normal : Salbutamol
Description : Blood thinner that drastically increases the chance of receiving bleeding wounds.
Consumption Rate : 0.08u/tick
Inverse Chem % : 25%
pH : 4.5
Increases the chance of receiving piercing and slashing wounds by 50%.
The formula for wound infliction is exponentional, so other factors such as the target being frail makes the wound chance much higher.
### Pendetide
Normal : Pentetic Acid
Description : An unusual bioradioactive drug that purges basic radiation healing chems. Also increases the severity of radiation poisoning.
Consumption Rate : 0.25u/tick
Inverse Chem % : 40%
pH : 3.7
Purges basic radiation/toxin healing medications (Multiver, Seiver, Potassium Iodide) at a rate of 5u.
Causes disgust and jittering, with a small chance to add confusion.
### Hyoscyamine
Normal : Atropine
Description : Heals heart and stomach damage, and slowly removes minor toxin damage.
Consumption Rate : 0.2u/tick
Inverse Chem % : 35%
OD Threshold : 40u
pH : 13.6
Overdose : Purges itself by 1u per tick while dealing 2 damage to a random organ.
Below 25 toxin damage, heals at 0.5 per tick. Above 25 toxin damage, does nothing.
Will not restore non-functional organs.
### Ammoniated Sludge
Normal : Ammoniated Mercury
Description : A ghastly looking mess of mercury by-product which causes bursts of manic hysteria.
Consumption Rate : 0.4u/tick
Inverse Chem % : 50%
pH : 10.2
7.5% chance to proc a random scream per tick.
### Inreziniver
Normal : Rezadone
Description : Makes the user horribly afraid of all things related to carps.
Consumption Rate : 0.05u/tick
Inverse Chem % : 25%
pH : 13.9
Assigns a phobia of carps to the consumer that can only be removed once the reagent is used up.
