# Account metric distributions
[Account metrics](/xnUSdbbaQS-wn0KmIYRh-Q?both) such as turnover will show a distribution within a club. Something closer to a [Gaussian distribution](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_law#Economics) would reflect a more balanced (and likely more [resilient](/k9ftl1shRPymM9r20hnH0A)) situation than a [power law](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_law#Economics), which tends to emerge naturally (see also [scale-free networks](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scale-free_network), [Gini coefficient](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gini_coefficient) and 'Critical Mass' by Philip Ball). It would be interesting to see if balance limits and governance can prevent the emergence of power law distributions.
