# Lucid’s “git gud” Submission

## Mindset

Before my tech journey, I spent my days learning about the mind and the limits of the human experience, with a particular interest in extreme sports, history, lucid dreaming, and music. After experiencing certain heights, I yearned to ground my experiences into reality. I didn't know for some time, but technology was the next chapter for me.

It started when I read the whitepaper and invested into Bitcoin in 2016, but I was still searching. I’ve been working to bring AI and metaverse tech onto blockchain since I had an existential crisis while staring at Google Cloud Console. This was in my SEO and digital marketing days. I saw something I really didn't like, something I had to fight to change.

During COVID, I sought out on a digital journey to gain the knowledge and find the people. Since 2020 I've been on this path and have tried and learned many things. I've worked on multiple blockchains, including Eth, Substrate, Internet Computer, Bitcoin, Flux, etc. I’ve worked on multiple metaverse/web3 gaming projects. I founded a project that took Webaverse and put it on the Internet Computer, and now I'm doing it again with Upstreet. My entire goal is to build a future where we can be free. Free to think, free to act, free to speak, free to be.


## Journal
I love to write down my thoughts as i have them, or save a good idea or link for later. I've been using discord as a knowledge base for years now. I have several private servers filled to the brim with notes and useful information. Hackmd is pretty cool and I may start to use it more.


## Avatars

I’ve made an avatar with Vroid Studio that will be the basis for my digital identity. I've made several in the past, but I plan to build off of this one as a starting point for my identity in the digital world. My digital identity will likely take on many forms as I evolve and experiement with it.


I've also got quite a bit of experience with helping others turn their avatars into VRMs. I’ve helped multiple projects now turn their assets into VRMs. Although I have much to learn in this area, I was able to get most avatars I’ve helped with working at a decent level.

I have a lot of experience in this world. I’ve hosted many things on the Internet Computer, including the older version of Webaverse. Currently, I’ve got a version of Upstreet mirror (metaverse version) hosted on the Internet Computer blockchain.

A while back, I made a showroom in Unity with WebXR support and ported it to the IC. Before exiting my last project, I contributed to building an entire world inside of Webaverse, it was called the Outpost. I’ve also used the Nexus for different world-building activities in the past. More recently, I've helped friends world build in Upstreet and am excited to continue growing my plot and private world there.
