* Choose a defense date. (December ?)
* Form a jury: make sure that they are all available and that we can cover travel expenses.
* Contact the doctoral school to make sure they agree with the proposed jury.
* Publish the manuscript of the thesis.
* Formally declare the jury on ADUM and send them the manuscript.
* Book a room for the defense.

## Jury composition rules
The jury contains between 4 and 8 persons.
* PhD advisors: that's you !
* 2 rapporteurs. They must:
* have HDR or equivalent
* be outside of PSaclay
* be outside of EDPIF
* have no collaboration with any of us
* At least half of the jury is rank A (professeur or equivalent)
* Equilibrated representation of genders

* 2 extra, need not be professors. 1 man and 1 woman would be nice. Maybe someone from the italian branch of the family ?
* Eva G. Noya, Spain. She is one of the inventor of the Einstein molecule method. She will present at Aperiodic2022 something on QC in patchy particle systems.
* Marc de Boissieu, Grenoble. He is an expert on QC, although more interested in atomic ones I believe.
* Primoz Ziherl, Ljubljana
