--- tags: English Speaking Practice --- # English Speaking Practice 12/4 [TOC] ## Topic Things you can’t learn at school or college ## introduction of the speech School teach lots of subjects ,such as math,chinese,english.Without a dout,there is still many life skiils you have to learn outside of school.Without learning them , your life may have huge problem.Therefore,an education should involve teaching life skills that a person will carry with them after college in order to navigate relationships and careers, and be a well-rounded, successful person. Toaday I want to share 4 life skiils not taught in school and which are valuable skills in life. In some respects some of these life skills are essential in life. ## body of the speech 1. Conversation and Communication: Conversation is an essential life skill because communication is required in almost all meaningful connections with others. Communicating well with coworkers, bosses, loved ones, dates, friends, spouses, neighbors, acquaintances, etc., enable human beings to flourish. Healthy communication requires certain social norms and boundaries to be observed. These skills in our connections include mutual respect and give-and-take—whether it’s face to face, by email, social media, telephone, or any other means of communication. 2. Critical Thinking: The stakes are high in our duties and responsibilities in life. The decisions we make have real-world consequences, some immediate, and some delayed, affecting ourselves and others. Making the right choices could literally mean the difference between happiness and remorse, success and failure, and so on. For example,right now I am building a coding team.Everybody have their part to do. In the same time me and my teammates have our own business to take care of.Therefore,how to spend our time becomes a real problem for us.We have to think which thing is the priority.If we make wrong decision,then we may lose a lot. 3. How to Handle Money and Invest The importance of financial responsibly is obviously valuable. Accounting, finance, and business classes do explain accounting procedures, financing arrangements, and business structures, but do not focus much on personal finances, saving or investing. The job of these classes is to prepare students for working environments, and not necessarily for managing their own finances. For my example,I don't know how to manage money untill I knew the potential of money and met crypto currency. 4. Healthcare and Health Insurance While schools do offer access to the nurse, students need to be taught at least the basic rudimentary facts about getting and maintaining healthcare and health insurance, which can be a confusing process to an expensive and ever-changing system. From my perspective,I think school don't teach student about health.shcool even make us do unhealthy thins.For example ,In order to finish the homework , we have to stay up late which is bad for health ## conclusion of the speech Eventhouh there are still lots of things you can't learn in school.Such as cooking,law and time management.Therefore, the chance of the world getting rid of schooling institutions is zero. But don’t think for one minute that what schools have to offer is all the knowledge that one needs in order to live a life of prosperity. In fact, the most important lessons one will learn will be learned outside of the classroom.my conclusion is we can't depend learing on school. If you want to be great , have more skills and earing more money,you have to put the work in.It doesn;t matter whether you are in school or not.You have to spend lots of time on the craft you want to learn , make hard decision and sacrifise something so that you can achieve your goal. ## song to share Song name:Never Recover Singers:Drake & Lil Baby & Gunna
