The only recognised professional organisation in India that develops and regulates the field of company secretaries is the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). After completing grade 12, students interested in a career in law must take the ICSI COMPANY SECRETARY EXECUTIVE TEST (CSEET). CSEET lasts for four to five months. The CSEET syllabus is divided into the following four sections:-
**PART 1** :- **BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (50 MARKS)**
**PART 2** :- **LEGAL APTITUTE & LOGICAL REASONING AND QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE (70 MARKS)**
**PART 3** :- **ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT (50 MARKS)**
**PART 4** :-**CURRENT AFFAIRS (30 MARKS)**
The new curriculum will include electives from the ICSI curriculum (2022), an EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME (SEVEN PAPERS), and a PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME (SEVEN PAPERS). Students may register in the ICSI CS Executive Programme after completing the CSEET test. ICSI.EDU, the ICSI's official website. Exams for the CS Executive Programme are only offered in centres.
As per new syllabus of ICSI 2022, EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME are divided into two groups :-

Corporate Accounting And Financial Management
Group 2 = There Are Three Following Subjects
Capital Market & Securities Laws

Strategic Management & Corporate Finance
Elective 2
Arbitration, Mediation & Conciliation
