# DATDOT My name is Kayla Olu, a UI/UX Designer from Lagos, Nigeria. I volunteer to make interviews for the Dat Ecosystem, here’s a brief article on project “**DATDOT**”. **Datdot** is a platform that supports peer-to-peer sharing of storage space and data seeding. It helps preserve data sovereignity and makes it more accessible and reliable to users. It eliminates the need for users to rely on renting servers for data hosting or accept the potential unreliability of P2P data sharing. All parts of datdot are open sourced, available to the public and can be found on Github https://github.com/datdotorg If you would like to discover more about Datdot, here’s a link to an interview video with Nina and Alex (who are part of the Datdot team), here they talk in-depth about the project Interview - Demo - If you would like to connect directly with the Datdot team on social media; Visit the website https://datdot.org/ Join the Discord server https://discord.gg/CbC325ZkVP https://discord.com/invite/3CJuGxkyyE Cabal https://cabal.chat/ Twitter https://twitter.com/datdotorg Open Collective https://opencollective.com/datdotorg
