The Book of Frontier Improvement Ideas 1. Restrict the maximum movement speed of all ships to 30m/s, and set the default to 30m/s. Improving engines should not increase speed maximum, instead increasing the acceleration speed. 2. Introduce a server-wide negative when contraband is turned in so the general population is effected by and would want to stop smugglers. 3. Allow NFSD to gain FUC by completing vault missions, as well as generating FUC at a very slow rate that the Sheriff can access. 4. Introduce a Hospital POI, with the Health Director (new whitelisted role) at the helm. Remove medical roles and cloning from all POI/Ships besides the new POI. 5. Introduce perma-prisoner gameplay, such as asteroid mining salvage missions, so throwing someone in perma isn't immediately game ending for them. 6. Make jail time persistent, per character, between sessions played on Frontier. Can be removed by Admins, must be applied by a whitelisted Sheriff. 7. Move food and item vendors, as well as the cargo purchasing console, off of Frontier to encourage player movement to other locations. Allow players to purchase only fuel at Frontier for their ship. 8. Introduce the ability to purchase cargo at various different POI with variability to pricing that is randomized on round start and changes every hour. (Contraband can tie into this by driving up all prices, reducing return on sale of high-value cargo.) 9. [I've been informed this has been done already to a degree.] Remove the limbo-area that players sit in after the timer expires on expedition running. Potentially remove the timer altogether, and if all crew that went planetside die then the planet and ship will despawn. This makes expeditions more costly on a loss. Dynamic changes to the environment and mobs spawning can force players to leave without a timer in place. 10. Require a ship to fly to a random nearby coordinate in space and stay inside that general area for a certain amount of time to be able to FTL warp to solve the exped jumping to escape the NFSD.
