# **B**ring **Y**our **O**wn **P**roject 2023
## A chance to get your hands on ML
DSG is counducting a monthlong learning and coding event for you folks.
You are expected to submit a proposal explaining the idea you wish to work on, along the mentioned guidelines by **20^th^ February, 2023.**
This is an **Individual event**.

We'll be contacting the proposals selected and they will proceed to the coding phase.

## For first yearites,

#### Sample Ideas (you can think along these lines)
* EDA on some real life datasets like:
Analysis of JoSAA opening and closing ranks scrapped from their websit
Advertisement Analysis of FIFA 2023
* You can create a simple App that uses Machine learning and deploy it using frameworks like Flask.
* Create your own music recommender system (built by you, for you)

#### Guidelines:
* The end deliverables of BYOP will be a github repo. We will be providing resources for the same, that you can refer to.
* We expect you to start your coding phase after the mid evaluation, if not before. (you can use the period before the mid evaluation to understand the concepts that are being used in your projects)
* Try to answer every section in the sample proposal in a detailed manner.
* Do not worry about being technically incorrect, we will be helping you with that.

#### Guidelines:
* The end deliverables of this project will be a github repo with a description conatining the code-base (preferably in the readme files)
* Your proposal should contain clarity about your working goals till mid evaluation and end evaluation.
* Answer every section in the sample proposal in a detailed manner and strictly follow the format.

You need to submit the proposal as a google doc link and **Ensure that you give viewing right to everyone.**
