Later development of the MVP/Product will be fully open sourced under a Apache 2.0 licence #### [METADATA] Themes: #### [METADATA] SDG rating \- #### [SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution. This Proposal focuses on the enhancement of bridging Berachain and Cardano together. This includes several guides, documents and resources to enable NFT swapping between the two eco systems, with no code for creators. We are mainly following the approach of 1) Fund 12 - Concept 2) Fund 13 - MVP 3) Fund 14 - Product The main issue is that there is minimal and complicated tooling for this solution. Berachain is growing to over half a million users, and we want to bring people together from Cardano and Berachain together. So, we're proposing a concept of bridging a standardized NFT tokens between Cardano & Berachain (which allows for other EVM chains to join with the open sourced architecture). Why Berachain, and why Cardano? Because Berachain is moving fast, creating life time holders and interested members, with a strategic opportunity through Kingdomly, we can bring the NFT enthusiasts together, which can also be a prime success story of bridging into EVMs. The concept, ideally will provide a fully fledged building plan on which we then further develop the MVP, further Product, then adding cool features etc :) Regarding the Cardano & Berachain bridging, we are exploring the following: 1. What infrastructure is available - how is it limited and we can extend it for a better developer experience? 2. Can we still maintain a no code design system for anyone to simply follow a guide to create cross chain NFTs? 3. Can we utilize this infrastructure for RWA to bring new assets into Cardano and Berachain? Including; - On / Off chain data - Oracles - TX Metadata The solutions and answers to these are getting directly involed in our next stage, where we then implement and integrate the infrastructure for cross chain marketplaces. #### [IMPACT] Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community. The postive impacts for the Cardano Ecosystem are the following: 1. Fully open sourced. Devleopers are given guides and resources to replicate and utilize it for their own NFT purposes. 2. a part of 500,000 potential users can interact and particpate in the Cardano NFT ecosystem, bringing volume and long lasting relationships through this. 3. Build a alliance between Cardano and Berachain developers to build great infrastrcture that any developer can utilize. #### [CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible? To clarify, I'm Watson - but I am applying for my good friend Ethan Rife; the founder of Kingdomly, which hosts the largest NFT marketplace in Berachain at the moment, managing millions inside Smart Contracts and NFTs. Ethans Founder Experience: 1. [Incubator program](https://www.texasblockchain.org/incubator) - Developed and scaled his NFT marketplace from tens of thousands into millions over 3 months. 2. **Media Presence** - Grew his businesses social precense to 5,000 collective NFT collectors over 2 years. 3. **Project Management** - Leads a full time team of 7 developers and 2 marketing people. Additional support from uniFire members, Berachain developers, Kingdomly and Arthur Labs ensures that the project has all needed connections, knowledge and skills to successfully implement and produce the proposal. #### [Project Milestones] What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully? Lead: Ethan Rife Colead & Applicant Proposer: Watson Lewis-Rodriguez uniFires Support: **Frank** - Senior developer, JavaScript, Rust, German, English. Stuttgart, Germany. I will sell you a shirt with Holograms. **Felix** - Cardano Ambassador, Governance, Open Source & grass roots, often being punk, doing great things with people smarter then me and usually having great fun :) **Mark** - Software Engineer, has years of professional experience in Cardano smart contract development, functional programming and applied formal methods engineering Kingdomly Support: Several smart contract designers and developers under Kingdomly will be involved in the design and curation of the NFT standard -- Most with high level and senior experience in blockchain development. Additional Support **Obo** - Backend developer, blockchain engineer and smart contract developer. #### [BUDGET & COSTS] Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources. 22,000 total per month Research: 8,000 Ada Operational Budget: 5,000 Ada Prototyping: 3,000 Ada Advisory: 2,000 Ada Content Creation: 2,000 Ada Publishing & Outreach: 2,000 Ada TOTAL - **Ada 22,000** per Milestone / per Month 4 Milestones X 4 months = 88,000 Ada Tho, We will be seeking out additional support from the Berachain team. #### [VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem? **Value creation:** 1. Ideation - Any NFT creator can participate in two blockchains seamlessly without needing to spend much additional time learning about bridging. 2. More access to NFTs - Anyone holding ADA can access Berachains 1.7 Million different NFTs. 3. Go to market - Developers don't need to waste time building infra when it's already available through this marketplace. 4. RWA - Anyone holding Ada can swap between Cardano and Berachain, which then can be implemented with various RWA marketplaces. This project would expand on enabling assets transferring from blockchains, NFTs are the initial use as it is most commonly known. But with the existing development inside of uniFires, Kingdomly, Arthur Labs, Berachain, Polkadot and Cardano, it allows for anyone to create a listing and cross interaction between all 3 blockchains, creating alliances between industry leading technologies. The biggest value with this is that it connects leading developers cross chain, share resources and infrastructure, creating a no code experience for any marketplace built between the chains. #### [MANDATORY ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS] Fund Rules: * By submitting a proposal to Project Catalyst Fund12, I confirm that I have read and agree to be bound by the Fund Rules.
