  • Conference #1 (Online) 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023. MUSIC MATERIALS MIND Music Materials Mind is a webinar that brings together material scientists, physicists, neuroscientists, composers, artists and performers. This first edition will feature researchers from Canada, Italy and India from various disciplines who are working at the interface of novel sensors, brain computer interfaces and music composition and performance interfaces. Presentations will include: Researchers from Srishti Manipal Institute, ArtScienceBLR and The Indian Sonic Organisation in India. Researchers and scientists from the University of Montreal and the Montreal Polytechnique in Canada, and composers and musicians from Bologna, Italy. This is meant to be an introductory seminar for future and potential collaborators to understand the work that is happening at the intersections of Materials science, Physics, Neuroscience and Music.
