[Validating Lightning Signer](https://vls.tech/roadmap/) (VLS) improves LN security by separating private keys and security rule validation from your Lightning node, into a discrete signing device. Since launching their [beta](https://vls.tech/posts/vls-beta/) in June, VLS followed up with a release for [low resource signers](https://vls.tech/posts/low-resource-signers/) and are now focused on building support for tag team signing, Docker, splicing and dual funding. Up next, VLS plans to focus on [VSS](https://github.com/lightningdevkit/vss-server) integration and developing features to support enterprises (e.g. optimized high-volume transaction handling, signing authority levels, and signed audit reports). Further in the [roadmap](https://vls.tech/roadmap/) VLS plans to introduce multi-sig Lightning and mobile secure enclave integration.
