# Japan The story of modern Japan starts around 1444. For reason, historians are still unsure it seems the whole world was thrown into a chaos that year. For years the Daimyos of Japan stood united under the shogun and there was some, but relatively little infighting. This all changed when Lord Soussouni rose to power in the Uesugi clan. He tried to forcefully unite japan under his reign; while ultimately unsuccessful because he was defeated by a coalition of the remaining Daiymos under the shogun it showed that the system was flawed. ## Rise of Ouchi3 under SpicyDemon A man who has shown his talents in warfare as the ruler of the Sultanate of Bahmanis years before arrived at the court of Ouchie in 1465. The year the coalition to stop Uesugi was formed. The ruler was cunning and managed to deceive the shogun to allow him to rule Ouchie. This single decision changed the fate of Japan forever. After the war of Uesugi submission was finished Japan was devastated, however, SpicyDemon had not committed to the war; arriving just a day too late to the battles, citing troubles with Uesugi sympathizers raiding his supply lines. This meant that the Ouchie army was relatively unscathed. During these troubled times, SpicyDemon offered protection to his fellow daimyos, one by one they accepted until he himself became what the coalition was aimed to destroy; a rival to the shogun. He managed to quickly depose the shogun and started the progress of Japanese expansion that's still happening to this day. His quick rise and expansion let to fear of Asian countries around him. While saying only the horde to the north called Oirat was his enemy Asia united to fight Japan. Thanks to the naval superiority of both Taiwan and Malaya only the heartlands of japan remained to save when Spicy demon died at Kyoto in the year 1550 (although records are unsure when he precisely died). ## Consul Gasputin With the death of their shogun, Japan seemed poised to fall to outside factors. General Gasputin, who led the defense of the mainland became the defacto shogun. While he fought valiantly to defend Japan, in the end, it was a question of numbers that Japan did not have. In the year 1552, he surrendered unconditionally to the coalition. Which demanded large parts of land in Japan itself. When Gasputin and Japan had regained his strength he declared war to get back the islands from the invaders. While seeing partial success at the start the war quickly turned into the coalition's favor. Eventually, this led to a stalemate where neither side could gain any side. Gasputin died honorable in battle in 1567. ## Rebirth under LORD ALMIGHTY KREDIAX THE AWESOME GOD IM SO FUCKING COOL After Gasputins death a new Shogun was established. Krediax took over control of Japan. While Japan has been an isolationist nation he sought outside help, which was promised in the form of the nation called Great Britain and the Netherlands, both able to rival the naval power of Taiwan and Malaya. However, the nation was tired, before help could arrive he was forced to sign a dreaded peace with honor where; again Japan lost part of its Island. 10 years after coming to power in 1567 he declared what turned out to be the first successful war Japan had seen in nearly 40 years. Quickly all parts of Japan that were claimed by the pretenders were secured by Japanese forces while these new European allies managed to dominate on seas. Together they beat back the coalition and managed to unite Japan once more. Krediax managed to normalize relations with multiple nations of the Coalition, Oirat however was excluded and was declared an enemy of Japan. This led the multiple Oirat campaigns, who due to numeral reasons were diplomatically isolated like Japan was before. This led to the quick reconquest of Korea, the establishment of The Wei protectorate even the Shanxi protection efforts. While large swaths of lands are under the control of Japan many are still fearful. The old enemies are mostly either defeated or made friends. ## Situation in 1657 While Japan looks strong on the map it still needs to consolidate, the remnants of Oirat hordes still refuse the rule of Tokyo, the protectorates of Wei and Shanxi have a large amount of autonomy and the once-mighty Navy has been neglected during the past 100 years. While relations with Malaya have normalized nor formal alliance was agreed to so far leaving Japan naval wise weak. The Nation of Nepal who are famed for their quality of and discipline of their troops eye up Japanese Chinese protectorates. The alliance with the Mughals has so far not been tested and while both rulers talk regularly no call of direct military aid has been made either way. The world is just like in 1444 changing, will Japan manage to survive the change is the debate for many
