It has a couple of really good generals and seems to have started building up its manufactories meaning the next session if they continue the income will easily break 200 ducats. Especially since moving some merchants around already gives a boost of 18 ducats *cough* Spain/The Pope are stealing your money from Alexandria *cough*. Has 8k debt but that's not a big problem for him right now. Still, 2 relations over its limit but the hugbox is dead. Took a bite together with Prussia out of Poland. Religious unity is kinda low at 64%. Isn't converting either which I think he should. I would also swap the cannons to small cast iron. For the extra defensive pip. ## A tier ### Vijayanagar Income of 146 and 90/164 FL. Broke its alliance with Nepal and don't have a truce. #prayforkirei, actually Never mind he is in an actual regency council (1/0/2 lol) for 14 more years yikes, after that an awesome 5/6/6 ruler though (i assume Surya generated). Decided to ally both Japan and Prussia. I'm sure they will be able to help Prussia if war breaks out. Also sneakily vassalised Timurids who still have a lot of cores! Similar to Ottoman I think the small cast-iron cannon is better. ### Spain Income is at 142 at the army at 144/153. Currently lagging in each tech because he is waiting on the institution. Meaning his income could go up with around 15 ducats more just be teching up. Could move either of its merchants to collect in Genoa although the difference is marginal. Not allied with Portugal anymore but is guaranteeing its independence. Should start building some buildings (that .41 ducats a month workshop damn). Currently only has 1 manufactory and a couple of workshops. Can farm all the estates. Also can pick the next government reform, although he can pick that the last 15 years or so. Could embargo the Ottomans and Butua although again that would do little other than give some pp. ### England I'm impressed with myself. I somehow always manage to piss of the burghers to lower my income a lot just before the game ends (may or may not have miscalculated with a potential burghers disaster). Still, income is at 149 loyal burghers would make a difference of 18 a month. FL of 69/97 but by far the strongest navy in the world with 45 heavies. Didn't form Great Britain yet because of low legitimacy could form it "normally" but then I don't get a free Scotland. Started building a decent amount of manufactories. ## B Tier ### Russia Income at 78 ducats a month. 120/157 FL, should build a few more cannons so he has a full combat width but is looking pretty good. Almost caught up on ideas which makes him so much stronger. Has a god-like ruler of 5/4/6 of only 22 so hopefully, he stays around a bit. Could use edicts to convert a bit faster so that those rebellions finally stop. Could get above 50 power projection if he sends both a normal and a scornful insult. Could squeeze a couple more ducats out of the trade. Really should conquer Transoxiana soon (look at all those claims!) which would also give him more trade power in Siberia/astrakhan and Samarkand. Also has 3 states open, with ex Livonian order land being full cores already and the highest dev he should state that. Could farm some military points. ### Qing 68 income and 68/100 FL. Worth noting that most of its infantry are banners with that 10% discipline bonus! Still, money-wise it's lacking. Income grew a bit, but not a lot. Low income means it's very hard to build up the country. Severely lacks cannons, mostly because he can't afford them I assume (last time I'm going to mention it but I would swap to small cast-iron cannons). It has 10 heavies, in fact all the Chinese do seems like they want to invade Japan! ### Zhejiang 71 income and 67/134 FL. Close to finishing its full idea set meaning an additional 15 discipline and 20% goods produced. Although that would delay his tech by a lot. Decisions, decisions! Is culture converting to Manchu to have an even stronger army meaning he is way behind on Diplo tech. Is using its money to pay for full price level 3 advisors. It might be useful to spend some of that money on buildings since you have so many awesome buildings to build. ### Macau Riches of the Chinese with an income of 84. 64/142 FL. All of these Chinese are pretty close, to be honest. I rate Macau somewhat lower because I don't like its NIs that much. Still, it's pretty strong. When it has integrated its vassals it has a lot of provinces and with its dev cost reduction could become a sleeping giant. I'm amazed that he managed to piss off all 3 of its estates! ## C Tier ### Papal states They crushed the protestant rebellion to their north with one swift stroke! Literally everybody attacked Switzerland that was bordering him. Still, income went up to 80 ducats and 42/77 FL. Milan was so nice to dev the provinces for him. Needs to prioritize to convert Tirol to make a shit ton more money there. Has run out of building spots meaning a lot of manufactories cant be made which is a waste. Also, you should make a deal with Spain that you move your trade capital to Venice and only collect there. In exchange for subs of course. ### Poland Lost the war vs Prussia and ottomans. Meaning it in a bit of a pickle. 67 income and 45/75 FL. What is going to happen completely depends on what the ottoman is going to do next session. Atm its a bit stronger then Prussia but it can't beat the sick man of Europe even with Hungary's help. ### Prussia Income of only 50. But then again it's Prussia 32/71 FL. Took a good bite out of Poland and killed cologne. Really behind on tech, due to the bankruptcy I assume. Took all the missions he could which is a bit odd perhaps the AI did that? still, it's suboptimal. ### Ethiopia 83 income with "only" 18 out of gold. 97/97 FL. Looks pretty decent. About to finish offensive. Could contemplate forming Yemen for better NIs. I wonder if he is eyeing up Butua. ### Butua income of almost 100 but half of that is from gold! Being ibadi helps with that as well. FL of 76/82. Nice us of the merchant in Zanzibar! Has built a lot of regimental camps! ### Aztec 71 income (32 of which is gold) and 46/64 FL. Has almost 3k gold in the bank which I assume he is going to spend when he unlocks the next manufactory. Caught up military tech but is lagging behind admin tech. Made Apache a player vassal and unified Mexico. Lacks some ideas but should be able to catch up next session. ### Songhai 79 income and 65/65 FL. It has some trouble with where to expand next. Either he has to fight England/Spain or he fights Ethiopia who is his ally. None of which seem like a good idea. ## D tier ### Hungary 52 income and 53/49 FL. I think this nation is a lot weaker then it seems. Took trade as the third idea and has aristocratic as first. Without the ottoman as an ally, I fear for Hungary to be honest. Currently at war with Ulm which should be winnable but in the long run I don't think this nation will survive if it doesn't change some stuff around. still behind on admin and Diplo but caught op on mil tech at least. ### France 46 income and a FL of 40/46. Lacking behind on ideas meaning the quality of his army is not that impressive right now. But still, with Switzerland dead and allied to both England and Spain he should be fine and able to feast on Switzerland's corpse. He also made a CN in Brazil! ### Portugal 58 income and 65/63 FL. Went offensive as the third idea for the privateer efficiency? It is currently the emperor although I assume Spain will be the next. Should start converting the Morrocan provinces to catholic accept the cultures and with edicts and it converts fast. About to form a new CN which is always nice. Should probably delete the cav btw. ### Inca 82 income (40 of gold) and 69/67 FL. About equal with Aztec but is lagging in tech a bit more, I assume since he reformed later. ### Otomo 24 heavies and 32 Gallies! Which is a good idea since all the Chinese have some heavies. Income of 43 and 36/53 FL. He went exploration since china is currently impossible for him to expand into. ### USA 38 income 31/47 FL and consolidated most of his region. Vassal Scotland has colonized some provinces in there but I'm sure we will work that out. It is not alone anymore since it borders Texas! ## E tier ### Nepal Sub left halfway trough because it was a shit nation? 56 income 47/97 FL. God awful tech! 9/8/13 tech means only 14 ideas so while Nepal isn't really strong military either. Can farm the estates which is nice but that won't help him from Vijayanagar. Who broke the alliance and it seems like they will attack as soon as the regency is over. ### Madyas 31 income and 36/37 FL. But more important is his navy! 14 heavies and went naval ideas. Meaning he will be a big player in the naval game to come. Far behind with Diplo tech though. ### Majapahit Was taken over this session after 2? session of being AI. Caught up in tech and went exploration to grab some land. Income of 46 and 28/41 FL. also has 8 heavies although he is allied with Madyas so that should be fine. It doesn't really need to garrison Christmas island since there are no natives there. ### Transoxiana 39 income and 41/46 FL. Eating up the AI around him but it feels like Russia will come knocking pretty soon. Suprised Russia hasn't yet to be honest. Has no allies and no good ideas (3/7 expansion and 2/7 defensive), and is also behind tech. It's in a bad state. The only thing it has going for it are 2 military buffs that give him 15% morale which end in 1569 and 1579. ### Texas Only formed this session and is currently on English life support. Texan ideas are pretty good and there is a lot of lands to colonize. With time could have a pretty good army. Dropped plutocratic (that the ai picked) for Quality meaning his NIs aren't filled up but will soon be. 29 income (half are subs) and 22/22 FL ## F Tier ### Apache Become the Aztec's vassal meaning he can end his life whenever the Aztec feel like it. ### Ulm 19 income 37/21 FL currently fighting Hungary. Seems like they will lose this war. 2k debt with such a small income is a problem. It needs to somehow win this war or its dead. ### Switzerland Is doing its best to help Ulm in this war but with 21 income and 16/23 FL it won't turn the tide. Lost a lot of land to the pope! It is split in 2 which France eying up one part and the pope/Hungary eying up the other part. ### Cologne Looks dead unless somehow France manages to revive him.
