--- tags: CU Ops --- # Adding new RWF-001 Core Unit Multisig ###### tags: Updates real-world-finance rwf-001 multi-sig multisig-rec mip-47 Thanks to all who agreed to participate as a signer on the RWF-01 Auditor’s Wallet and the RWF-01 Operational multisig. --- I’m submitting the multsig wallet to be identified as owned by MakerDAO, specifically the DSPauseProxy contract which can withdraw funds at anytime. There is a legder spreadsheet [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19tIncBWQdRQSHPF_271R1LrFMmj6dQe8/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=114529981085695499641&rtpof=true&sd=true). The current RWF Core Unit budget [here](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip40c3-sp39-modify-core-unit-budget-rwf-001/10543) is used. An updated budget will be submitted for approval, following facilitator ratification. Per MIP47c1: > Governance must be able to revoke funding and permissions from approved multi-sigs at any time. The Maker Protocol (MCD_PAUSE_PROXY, 0xBE8E3e3618f7474F8cB1d074A26afFef007E98FB) is listed as a beneficiary on the Auditor Wallet. This allows the Maker protocol to withdraw up to 1B Dai from the Auditor Wallet, ensuring control over these funds and acting as a back-up. The RWF-001 facilitator has engaged SES and GovAlpha to set the multisig according to best practices, transparency and auditability: an Auditor Wallet and an Operational Multisig were setup. **Auditor’s Wallet** RWF-001 has confirmed with a number of trusted Maker DAO members that they will be taking up the role of Auditor’s Wallet signers. A 2-out-of-2 multi-sig, controlled by trusted MakerDAO members. This multi-sig will hold funds in Dai and receive the DssVest stream. All funds pass through this wallet before any are sent to the RWF-001 Operational Wallet. RWF-001 CU Auditor’s Wallet https://gnosis-safe.io/app/eth:0x96d7b01Cc25B141520C717fa369844d34FF116ec/ **Operational Multisig** RWF-001 Operations Wallet – A 2-out-of-3 multi-sig, having signers as below. This multi-sig will be used for Core Unit expenses. **Multisig Signers** @williamr (Real World Finance Core Unit Team) Address: eth:0x44d2509074993b858c54B6d276ebD3816FC93A68 @monkey.irish (Collateral Engineering Services Core Unit) Address: eth:0xDE0FF661Fb2d06d4F787dd23A579D64c6989BdA1 @Nadia (Growth Core Unit Team) Address: eth:0xc8E6c287F6c127AFE5e4CB30bC440607b44c35f8 For further [details](https://gnosis-safe.io/app/eth:0xD1505ee500791490DE8642353BA6A5b92e3550F7/settings/owners). > All signers must be tagged on the forum and their willingness to be included in the Multi-Sig publicly confirmed. @williamr (Real World Finance Core Unit Team), I confirm @monkey.irish (Collateral Engineering Services Core Unit) @Nadia (Growth Core Unit Team) > A representative for the Multi-Sig must be designated as an official point of contact. @williamr (Real World Finance Core Unit Team) is the point of contact for this multisig. > There must be a clear and public explanation of the purpose and scope of the Multi-Sig. The operational multisig holds funds to pay for Real World Finance Core Unit monthly expenses; including salaries and other team expenses as approved and accounted in the [current Core Unit budget](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip40c3-sp39-modify-core-unit-budget-rwf-001/10543). > A clearly defined process for onboarding and offboarding signatories. This multisig was designed with BCP and succession fail-safety in mind. If the current facilitator is removed from his position at any point, a new sucessor will be onboarded and will replace his access to the multisig. In case no facilitator is onboarded, the remaining 2 multisig signers can still facilitate CU operations as a fail-safe. When the last facilitator is offboarded, Governance should take back the remaining funds. > A wallet address to be whitelisted.
