> []# Pie Redemption (via smart contract)
Hi fam :wave: PieDAO has stopped supporting its crypto Indexes (Pies) for quite some time (read more about the [PieDAO->Auxo migration](https://medium.com/piedao/the-auxo-upgrade-6a3763cb03c8)), yet there seem to be some frens that need some support with their PIEs...if you are one of them stay tuned.
## PIE Redemption
There are 2 options for PIE holders:
1. Keep holding
2. Redeem for its underlying assets
Lets talk about option 2: **the redemption**
PieDAO's site has been hosted on mirrors by different users, being the one used in the DAO communications: https://piedao.on.fleek.co/
Inside the [Products/PIEs](https://piedao.on.fleek.co/#/pies) section you will find the 3 products that were not decommissined during PieDAO's life: [Play](https://piedao.on.fleek.co/#/pie/0x33e18a092a93ff21ad04746c7da12e35d34dc7c4), [DeFi++](https://piedao.on.fleek.co/#/pie/0x8d1ce361eb68e9e05573443c407d4a3bed23b033), [BCP](https://piedao.on.fleek.co/#/pie/0xe4f726adc8e89c6a6017f01eada77865db22da14).
On all these product pages you will find the option to redeem by clicking on the ... menu, and choosing redeem

### Ok, it does not work, what now?
Yeah, shit happens. As mentioned before, there may be issues between the front end and the functions being called to the smart contracts. Yet, there's an alternative: redeeming directly through the smart contract.
For this we need to understand that we will need
* The PIE contract address (*all diamon standard, token contracts w/**18 decimals***)
* **PLAY**: 0x33e18a092a93ff21ad04746c7da12e35d34dc7c4
* **DeFi++**: 0x8d1ce361eb68e9e05573443c407d4a3bed23b033
* **BCP**: 0xe4f726adc8e89c6a6017f01eada77865db22da14
* The amount of tokens to redeem in `_amount (uint256)` format
* Find the amount of tokens you want to redeem (eg: 666)
* Use [Etherscan's unit converter](https://etherscan.io/unitconverter) to get the full 18 decimal number

* Go to Louper.dev (to interact w/diamond standard contracts)
* For Play [click here](https://louper.dev/diamond/0x33e18a092a93ff21aD04746c7Da12e35D34DC7C4?network=mainnet)
* For DeFi++ [click here](https://louper.dev/diamond/0x8D1ce361eb68e9E05573443C407D4A3Bed23B033?network=mainnet)
* For BCP [click here](https://louper.dev/diamond/0xE4f726Adc8e89C6a6017F01eadA77865dB22dA14?network=mainnet)
* Once in Louper's site:
* Connect your wallet
* Navigate to and select the write option
* Go to the "Choose Facet" option and select "BasketFacet"

* Then navigate to and expand the "ExitPool" option and paste your 18 decimals number in there

* All set, hit write!
