TLDR LabDAO supports distributed communities of scientists with open tools. Content LabDAO enables sharing of open research tools among its community of scientists and engineers. This is done via LabExchange – a marketplace protocol enabling members within the community to exchange services with one another. The plan is to start with computational services at the moment, and gradually expand to include all forms of research resources and wet labs. By having resources and research on-chain, LabDAO indirectly bootstraps a knowledge graph. This establishes scientific provenance by letting current and future researchers know if an experiment has been done before, and learn about its results or the way to reproduce it if needed.

TLDR RnDAO focuses on empowering humane collaboration through research and technology. Content RnDAO (R&D DAO) is a platform and network of teams collaborating on DAO research and prototyping tools for DAOs. Teams usually start with public goods research about DAOs or helping clients find Product-Market fit (through extensive user research and distilling the fundamentals of the problem). When opportunities are spotted that fall outside the scope of clients, a team assembles and builds upon the research to develop a solution. Their research expertise is well sought after, and they have published several authoritative thought-leadership pieces. The discussion so far From what I gather, the goal here is to capture memberships (that enable / give access to something) and contributions (that trigger rewards or incentivise contributors in a way that makes them want to continue contributing). As suggested by <@519376255309709322>, a membership pass (ERC721 or ERC1155) given to whitelisted addresses is the way to go. However, the frequency of issuance and criteria of issuance is not solidified. The PUB Token The utility of the PUB token is voting (it enables token holders who also have membership badges to vote, even vote in proportion their number of shares). Another one is access (as stated in the example, access to token-gated PubDAO publications).
