## General (Lead By: James Major)

- **We are trying to keep monthly meetings up to make sure everyone is on the same page.**
- **If you play on an Alt, make sure you don't carry LEO knowledge over to other character.**
- If you bring SOP or key knowledge on an Alt for exmaple, that is metagaming.
- As always, make sure you gain your knowledge through RP.
- **During ridealongs, make sure you are following SOPs directly and filling the downtime.**
- This is often their first taste of LEO and you are training them in the best practices for their future.
- If you have downtime, you can have them go over paperwork in Trello, ask them questions, etc.
- There's no reason to just be bored and standing on a porch for hours.
- There are plenty of ways to have fun even when there isn't anything crazy or exciting going on.
- **For SOPs, we are roleplaying in 1899 and you can use your best judgement for handling certain things.**
- For example, feel free to use community service in lieu of hard-time.
- But if they did something violent or something that deserves jail, they should get it.
- For those misdemeanors or people who are non-violent, community service can be used and is good fun!
- **When judges and other goverment officials that are involved in justice, include them!**
- You can always ask a judge to help out with a verdict if you notice their telegrams!
- Bench Trials are fun.
- **Try not to comment on Active State Judiciary cases.**
- Feel free to redirect them to the State Judiciary if they ask you about a case or your thoughts on it.
- **Everyone has been doing great on Trello!**
- Make sure you put in accurate charges that match the times and fines you give.
- If it's aggravated, make sure to include that in the charges.
- That way the paperwork is accurate for anyone else that needs it down the line (such as the State Judiciary).
- **If you want to prosecute, you can reach out to Alexander Jefferson or Josiah Shepard.**
- They'll have you sit in on one case and then they'll get you ready to prosecute cases!

## Q/A

- **Does Alexander J's testimony create probably cause? I know a judge does, but is his word the same as ours or a judge if he see's a crime?**
- Yes!
- **How professional is "Professional Looking"? Is it fine as long as we don't look like hooligans/hobos?**
- Looking professional, but themed how you want.
- If you feel it looks insane, don't do it.
- **Does it take someone to be an FTO to move higher in the ranks?**
- Detectives are defacto FTOs, so you do need to be FTO to be Detective.
- **Any thoughts on reducing the required number of deputies from 4-3 and 5-4 for banks?**
- There are banks that start at 3.
- **Ties or bandanas?**

- **Thoughts on pulling out a boat during a water chase if we can do it out of sight?**
- If it can be roleplayed out, sure.
- If it breaks immersion or is right near someone, then don't do it!
- We don't have to win. If they get away, they get away and that's some more RP for later.
- **Any chance of changing the shotgun policy? Make it to where if they have a shotgun we can use our shotguns? Im all about loosing and stuff but right now its not a fair playing field.**
- With the dismemberment of shotguns, we don't really want to abuse them.
- You can always hold back further if you spot one.
- **How do we charge someone killing someone elses horse or livestock? I know we have animal abuse ordinances but is there any way to charge a horse killer?**
- Currently that would be Grand Larceny.
- If it's your horse on LEO, it's charged like they shot an LEO.
- AG is pushing for a new law around that.
- **Is there anyway we can help with getting bounty hunting out to the people? I understand its still being worked on, but any help needed?**
- This is something being worked on in our upcoming Inter-Departmental Government meeting.
