# WWM Sunday Party (The Coin) -- Session 24+
Session 24 - 15/03/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing, Amb0 is late, Piranha is late, Toast is missing)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Master Creko jumps over 20 feet into the air and hops up out of the pit and leaves. The party follows.
Silk remembers the second secret door behind a throne and they look for it.
As he opens the door, sparks shoot off and a gas is ignited. Silk avoids the gas and Master Creko dodges a bit and gets a little charred.
A staircase is revealed that heads down. It's a river with a waterfall.
Master Creko finds a dangling chest, but it has a crazy lock (looks like the "skeleton key" would have worked here).
Master Creko starts to go for a swim and Silk tries to pick the lock. The mechanism turns and snaps both his lockpick and torsion bar.
Silk holds up Kurious and she tries to pick the lock. Suddenly she is teleported as her lockpick and torsion bar are also destroyed.
From inside the chest we hear Kurious banging on the inside and asking to be let out.
The chains holding the chest start lowering and the chest descends into the water. Kurious cries out as it goes.
Silks smashes the chest twice and a crack appears for Kurious to breath from and she cries out.
Mordacai magically enlarges the chest, making it so there will be a one-foot air bubble at the top.
Kurious tries to climb out, and does so easily with her claws. The inside was filled with lead.
Master Creko climbs into the chest to take a look. Mordacai also seens an Unseen Servant in.
---
Loot:
300gp
Gold Tankerd that has an Unhappy Face when full.
Bone Tube containing a Spell Scroll -- (Mordacai) Remove Curse -- Taken by Aramil
---
The enlarge spell wears off after Master Creko hands the loot to the Unseen Servant and he gets out.
We follow to the river to a dark pit where the water falls of. There is a ledge about 15 foot away and contains a chest.
Silk jams a rope and it seems to be fairly strong. He walks out and tries to lasso the treasure chest. He manages to hit it and it also seems solid.
Silk starts to tight-rope walk across the gap. The chest was actually a mimic and it dangles from the lasso.
Silk cuts the rope and the mimic falls, probably to death. Silk is having a hard time fighting against the water.
Master Creko starts to hoist him up, but Mordacai rushes past, trying to head down the rope and falls.
Silk catches him and Mordacai triggers a dimension door and both appear back in the tunnel.
The party heads back, Master Creko taking a secret door through the Scortral death room, and the rest head back through the water-way.
**The party heads down to the second level.**
There is a half-human-half-goat creature with goat headed staff (bronze head) dead on the ground.
The corridor we are in is like a perfect hoop somehow, like this can move. It feels as if gravity works differently. We are stuck to the floor.
Master Creko explores the corpse. Silk looks for traps and finds none. The staff is magical, says Aramil.
Mordacai finds out it is a Staff of Striking and Aramil gives it to Bradley, who attunes to it.
The hairs around Bradley's lips and chin grow a bit as he gets familiar with the staff.
Silk find anothe tomb and this one smells like wine. There are 4 stone gargoyle heads and a stone sarcophagus in the middle of a checkerboard stone floor.
Patriarch seems impatient and wants us to open the sarcophagus (he's possessed). The party moves in following Silk as he checks for traps.
The sarcophagus has a lock on it and it is Sovereign Glued to the floor. Silk tries to break the lock with his crowbar.
Aramil and Master Creko notice the wine smell is coming from the Gargoyle heads on the walls.
Silk manages to break the lock and there is nothing inside the sarcophagus except for a plaque that says, "Drown your sorrows, assholes".
Silk stabs the plaque and we run out, expecting a trap. The room is filling with wine and closes behind us.
We head back down the hall and south until Silk finds a plaque that says:
---
The ring is a path to another tomb.
The dead abhor sunlight.
Only a jewel can tame the frog.
Bow as the dead god intoned.
Into darkness descend.
---
Master Creko runs down the creepy hall and checks out the creepy face. It has terrified humanoids falling craved into the walls and floors.
There is a green painted bearded devil face that seems to be crying out. There is magical darkness in the mouth.
Master Creko tosses a stone into the mouth and hears bats being annoyed. It's 5ft wide and 10 feet deep.
Mordacai and Aramil walk up as Master Creko is standing on the mouth and about the jump in. Mordacai warns him as he jumps in.
There are four stone Sphynx in the room with torches in the corners. There is a golden sarcophagus in a funeral barge.
There are a set of fangs carved into the wall and the skeleton of a Dwarf in chainmail and a turban with a bronze sword.
The floor is covered in five-foot tiles with a hieroglyph on each.
Stepping off of the tile, a stone block lands where the exit was and closes it.
Back up top, Silk checks out the weird holes in a door and there are undead with bridles in their mouths. Silk then notices nobody is there with him.
He calls for Mordacai as undead are his thing. They find that the door could be opened if the undead weren't walking towards them.
They try to push all of the heads away at one time. The undead all seem to fall over backwards and then get back up and moan.
They don't seem to want to be pushed over again, so they turn around and walk the other way, which opens the door.
Mordacai jams the door open and Silk gets ready for a fight.
While they are doing that Aramil gets told by Master Creko not to come down the shaft and that there is another way in on the floor below.
Aramil leaves to join Silk and Mordacai. They see their own tomb with an ancient chariot with a bronze sarcophagus and a bird with a sharp beak on it.
There are glass cauldrons with humanoid bones in them, boiling away. There is a shield and there are chultan warrior, 1 with a sword, 2 with spears, and 1 missing his face.
There is a gold torc on the sarcophagus, 3 golden cups, 5 gold cloak pins, an amulet and other gems.
The amulet seems to be the vessel for the trickster god. Silk moves in to take a closer look.
Expressing his apparent distrust for fine jewelry, Silk picks it up with his sword and takes it back to Mordacai so says to just put it on.
Silk is easily convinced by Mordacai and when he puts on the apparent Amulet of Health it turns to sand and then a spirit hops into Silk.
He is possed. ("I bow before noone and expect others to do as I command." Enemy: Kubazan -- who's in Mordacai--. The Host cannot be surprised and you gain advantage on all WIS checks. Zero fall damage.)
The zombies get decapitated and the doors behind them slamb shut. The shield across the room with a hunter on it starts staring at them.
A spectral spear comes flying at them and the bones in the cauldrons all start to climb out.
Back to Master Creko. He walks on the Bird spot and nothing happens, so he takes a short rest.
Session 25 - 22/03/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing, Toast is missing)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Master Creko feels there is something missing from the puzzle so he jumps through a hole in the wall, hitting his head as he goes.
There is a strange purple mold with eyeballs in it that spells like a rotting corpse.
**Master Creko finds the third warning:**
---
Walk through water with weapon in hand.
Slake your shadow at the font.
The vulture is the first step.
Right the gods.
The walls of history tell all.
---
Master Creko climbs back up the stairs and finds the door that the party is stuck behind.
The party seems be holding them off in the hallway and have killed a few. Silk swings and finishes off another.
Bradley the Squire hands a double-barrel shotgun to Aramil and he shoots down the centre, hitting 3 and killing 2.
Master Creko Creates Water in the middle of the door and then swims right through the door to find the party.
One of the clacking skeletons stabs Aramil with a rusty shortsword.
Mordacai casts Dawn on the skele-gang, destroying them. He leaves the cylinder of light there to guard us.
Silk moves in and finds a secret door in the east wall and then opens it. In the door he find a glowing thing.
Master Creko runs over a spots a second secret door. The weird glowing thing is a dusty bottle with a creature inside.
The creature seems to be a Dao Genie with a stone face, female. She offers riches for her release
The old Master starts speaking Aquan to the bottle, asking if he can truely trust her. She cast Comprehend Languages and then asks him to repeat himself.
She offers aid three times in the dungeon for her release. Master Creko tosses the bottle at the ground near Silk to smash it and he catches it instead.
The other secret door near Master Creko opens and a silver amphibian looking creature (Gray Slaad: https://i.imgur.com/nx8FY8i.png) walks up to Master Creko and attacks him twice with a greatsword before biting him.
The Gray Slaad is hit by a Fire Bolt from Mordacai as well as the Dawn that is still up.
Aramil moves up, fires his rifle and hits the Slaad. Master Creko punches the Slaad twice, hitting it once.
The Slippery Slaad tries his three-attack combo on Creko again, but he misses the wavy old man.
Using another Fire Bolt, Mordacai hits the Slaad again and then his Dawn burns it again with radiant light.
With a little run and a hop, Silk jumps on the wooden table the Genie's bottle used to occupy and stabs the Gray Slaad twice, greatly wounding it.
After calling to Bradley, Aramil swaps out his rifle with his Squire and then he shoots the Slaad in the head, knocking the gem out that allows one to control the Slaad, and killing it.
Aramil picks up the **Jewel from the Gray Slaad's Head** and it's beautiful and shiny.
The Dao in the bottle offers help to get Silk's soul and heart back in exchange for it's freedom. Silk doesn't figure that she is lying.
Silks asks if the Troll Heart is even detrimental to him. The Dao says everything comes with a price.
Master Creko tells Silk not to be a pussy. Creko says his mother was a Genie and she was a bitch. The Dao says she knows her well and that she left Creko.
**Silk Uncorks the Dao while standing on a wooden table.** She looks like: https://i.imgur.com/6g7sypc.png at like 10' tall.
---
The Dao's Offerings:
- Help 3 times in the dungeon.
- Take us to any plane of existence.
- Get Silks Heart and Sould bakc.
---
Keshma Al-Wazir introduces herself and says there is another god that may help us in the tomb next to us.
There is a salt pentagram on the ground and wine is pouring on the floor from a hole in the wall. It seems like it will fill soon and the salt will wash away.
Master Creko forces the water to go directly up with Shape Water so the wine doesn't enter.
Mordacai's cohabitant spirit Wongo tells him to destroy the salt. He uses mage-hand the brush the salt away.
An Aura emanates from the sarcophagus in centre as Creko approaches it. He opens and sees an Urn. The Urn has the skull and bones of a Grung in there.
Master Creko picks up the "Flower Pot" and he is effected by an Irresitable Dance spell and starts dancing around with the Urn.
Aramil removes the curse and then Master Creko is immediately dancing again. Silk throws a dagger at the urn and a petrified grung egg hits the ground.
As the egg rolls, Master Creko grabs it and a Grung Spirit comes out of it, but his mind is too hard to penetrate.
Aramil touches himself and casts Protection from Good and evil on himself. The Grung Spirit jumps to Bradley as he enters the room and enters him as well.
Bradley: Enemy Shagambi. He can walk on ceilings and on walls. He is selfish now. Nangnang.
Inside the sarcophagus is a Potion of Supreme Healing, Mordacai takes it.
Master Creko climbs through the wine hole to the room that had flooded before that we ran out of. In the sarcophagus he finds nothing at all.
As he swims he feels something else is in the room with him. There are 3 wine elementals in the room with him.
He avoids them and swims back out as far as possible. The Wine Wierd tries to grapple him but misses. He escapes out of the tunnel and the Wine Weirds follow through as Creko explains what is going on to the Party.
The Wine tries to attack Mordacai, Aramil, and Master Creko, but they all miss. Silk stabs one of them. Mordacai backs up and Fire Bolts one of the Wine Weirds.
The Weird explodes into flame, igniting the others and destroying them. The flames leap up around Silk, Aramil, and Master Creko.
Silk dodges, and Master Creko tries to but gets singed as he moves out.
Keshma says that if we rest, the Tomb Dwarves will reset the traps. Aramil tries to heal up the party a bit.
Master Creko heals himself by touching himself. His fair stops flowing and falls flat for a second as he touches himself. He immediately looks better.
As we turn to head downstair, Silk runs across another secret door, leading to a font. Master Creko sprints past him and into the font.
Tomb Guardian: https://i.imgur.com/hUKYLD1.png
As Creko jumps in the pool, light emanates from the pool and a Tomb Guardian explodes out of the font.
He says that Creko will be killed for disturbing the sacred font.
The Tomb Guardian teleported from the lower floor. He says only those wearing "Armour? of the Black Skull" can peer through the font.
Aramil offers booze to the Tomb Guardian.
Silk knocks one of the arms off of the Guardian with both of his shortsword attacks.
The Tomb Guardian attacks the Silk and he avoids it a little bit. It slams Silk again, and he parries it and knocks off one of his legs.
No blood comes from this Tomb Guardian (It's a construct).
Mordacai tries to catch the Guardian in his Hypnotic Gaze, but it fails as this is a construct.
Master Creko hits him with his Staff of Tranquility and knocks the helmet off the construct, He tries to hit the Guardian again and it deflects off towards Mordacai who casts Shield so he doesn't get hit.
Aramil moves in and tries to shoot the helmet that is on the ground that is taunting him saying he cannot hit it. He then hits it twice.
With a thrust of his Shortsword, Silk finishes off the Tomb Guardian. It tells us not to go in the secret door behind Creko.
Silk finds the secret door that the Tomb Guardian mentioned.
Mordacai remembers that the Tomb Guardian referred to the font as a Scrying Pool. He looks in it and sees through the eyes of another Tomb Guardian.
There are green haired dwarven creatures and the Tomb Guardian is telling jokes at what seems to be a bar. (Tomb Guardian telling jokes to Tomb Dwarves).
In the secret passage we find 3 ways.
Silk peeks through the Western Door, and there is a man in what seems to be his office writing in a journal.
There are severed hands crawling across the floor with claws. It seems like the man is wearing a mask that looks like skin.
Withers: https://i.imgur.com/z5mIszX.png
Master Creko walks in and says, "Hello Friend" to the strange looking thing.
Withers said he can't kill us but he can have our hands dinner (says his master). He stands up and turns around slowly.
Mordacai asks what he was writing, and Withers said he was writing in his joural. Mordacai tries to pitch an auto-quill to him.
Silk stabs at one of the crawling claws on the floor, but it avoids it.
Aramil tries to shoot Withers and hits him with one of his two shots.
His one shot lands on Withers's forehead and the masked creature looks at Aramil and says, "I've got to _hand_ it to you, that was a good shot!".
Master Creko says, "Well you seem busy with your _hand-job_" and then just leaves.
Aramil finishes unloading into Withers, who falls dead as the hands wither away.
Mordacai grabs his notes and Journal and stows them.
He sees one strange note in the Journal:
---
The master returns with a marvelous gift: a cast-off creation of the gods, dead and yet not.
The All-Seeing is blind to its existence, and the Mother of Illusions looks past it! Sweet irony.
The master hopes to raise the creature to power by glutting it on souls.
The master has brought the Sewn Sisters here to nurse it, and to help build the device needed to feed it.
As for me, I am only saddened that my studies shall one day come to an end.
I owe the master much for the time he has given me! I can only work harder in the little time that remains for this world.
---
Silk recognizes the name _"Sewn Sisters"_ and realizes those are the same hags that have both Silk's Heart and Soul!
Session 26 - 29/03/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing)
----------------------------------------------------
Mordacai skims through Withers' Journal and then quickly puts it in his Coat. He says it says evil things beyond Aramil's comprehension.
It says something about Stillborn Gods. Acererak is trying to channel one. We may see one in the Soulmonger. He's says to try not to attack it so Mordacai can destroy it.
Silk opens the North door and runs into 5 green dwarves wearing medical masks and gloves. There are trap supplies here.
There is an iron maiden with pistons, tubes, and bubbling casks of blood. It opens, releasing steam.
A Tomb Guardian steps out. It looks at it's hands, confused. He says that he is **Seward**, an adventurer of the Company of the Yellow Banner.
They are converting dead to these monsters it seems. The Dwarves convince it that it is Acererak's creation and the Tomb Guardian walks off.
Finally, the Tomb Dwarves notice us and turn towards us. They say that the boss says they can't get in here because of the secret door.
We hear, "Don't let them get the **Ghost Lantern**". The Dwarves say they are soulless already.
Tomb Dwarf: https://i.imgur.com/jWpiI3V.png
Silk says that their boss sent us here to retrieve the lantern for him. He deceives them and they get it for us.
A Tomb Guardian Enters and says that the boss has sensed the Ghost Lantern is not where it is supposed to be.
Silk Stabs the closest Tomb Dwarf that holds the Ghost Lantern and starts the fight.
He drops the Lantern, but then quickly swipes it back up and runs off a bit. Silk's blade bites into his back, almost killing him, but he still limps away.
The Tomb Dwarf hands the Ghost Lantern off to the Tomb Guardian, who then kills the Dwarf for failing Acererak.
The first Dwarf up, tries to Life Drain Celia and hits, but fails to drain her. It then chops at her with it's axe and slashes her a bit.
The other three Dwarves attack Silk, only one Battleaxe striking true for a fair chop into Silk's arm.
With the Ghost Lantern in hand, the Tomb Guardian heads over and slams one of the Tomb Dwarves in the back.
Master Creko calls Celia dumb for being in the open and pulls her back and takes her place and then wacks the Dwarf that hurt her twice.
Celia telekenetically wrestles the Ghost Lantern from the Tomb Guardian's hands and then catches it. The Tomb Guardian stares at Celia with hate.
Silk mocks the Tomb Guardian as Celia fires a Fire Bolt at the Tomb Dwarf who hit her, disintegating it.
With a sneaky pair of stabs, Silk renders the Tomb Dwarf, who was previously smashed down by his Tomb Guardian, to a state more dead that before.
Aramil prays and then fires his Rifle with Divine Favour at the Tomb Guardian, but it clanks off his armour.
Bradley passes Aramil another Rifle and he blasts the helmet off of the Tomb Guardian.
The Tomb Guardian says that he cannot fail The Starfallen again.
Mordacai banishes the Tomb Guardian. It screams that it will Avenge it's Mistress, the Star Fallen.
The Dwarves seem confused as we Banished their failed Tomb Guardian. The Dwarves start to run.
Master Creko runs after them, and there is a brick wall that opens up We are now near the fountain on level 1.
He catches up to the two of them, and smashes one with a Fury of Blows four times, until it is dead.
Silk dashes up and stabs the last Dwarf quickly in the back, killing it.
Celia gives the Ghost Lantern to Mordacai who remembers it in books about The Starfallen. Her spirit has been in the Ghost Lantern for a long time.
The Company of the Yellow Banner was trying to track down the Eye of Zaltec to resurrect The Starfallen.
A face appears on the glass of the lantern and it speaks saying we aren't with the Yellow Banner.
She doesn't remember who she is but says she is called the Starfallen.
The Tomb Guardian returns after the minute is up. Mordacai is bowing, with the Ghost Lantern offered.
The Tomb Guardian is shocked and reaches for the Ghost Latern, and thanks Mordacai.
He says finding the Eye of Zaltec is hopeless as Acererak will have us all in the end.
Celia asks how to donate her soul to Acererak. The Tomb Guardian says she just has to die.
It then tries to convince her not to die.
Aramil casts Protection from Evil and Good on the Tomb Guardian and he gains full control of his construct.
He reintroduces himself as Seward, saying the rest of the Company of the Yellow Banner is dead, all of his friends.
He ties a peices of yellow cloth around his neck.
He tells us that Acererak and the Soulmonger are on level 6, but we are on Level 2.
Keshma shrinks herself to the size of a medium humanoid.
We head down the Spiral Staircase outside of Withers's office.
We decide to try and skip to level 5.
Seward says we need the Five Skeleton keys to get into Acererak's Vault where he is.
Mordacai remembers trying to reanimate one and then Gary the Celestial Warhorse kicking it off the edge back near where Scortal died.
Aramil asks the Blackstaff to try and Shatter the Vault Door, and then we head to Level 5.
There is a hallway that leads to a dead end with a door at the end.
There is some weird sludge (some sort of slime) on the floor that Aramil feels would cause psychic damage to hurt us.
Aramil pulls out his revolver and fires 3 shots into it after praying. The Radiant damage causes the slime to start to disintegate and burn away.
Mordacai casts Fire Bolt on the next slime, and it doubles in size. Aramil shoots it again, and it shrivels away and disintegates.
It seems Radiant is the way to go. Master Creko takes point.
There is a Skeleton Key here and Aramil runs across it.
Aramil and Silk finds some writing that says, "Awaken Napaka".
Master Creko is staring in to the Pentagonal room that has a wild garden full of compost that seems like it can move or spin.
There is a 10ft shaft going up above a sprinkler.
Mordacai throws a Fire Bolt into the Pentagonal room after Aramil suggests it. Nothing seems to happen and nothing catches fire.
The plants and grass in the room does seem to move.
Mordacai tries hitting a plant directly with a Fire Bolt. (It's a **Shambling Mound**).
With a sharp bang, Aramil shoots his Divinely charged Rifle at the Shambling Mound with some effect.
Seward runs up and Slams his Spiked Gauntlets into the Mount twice, hitting hard with the first.
Silk gets his two stabs in on the Mound and then gets Grappled and Engulfed by it.
Keshma runs in and smashes the Mound twice with her Maul, hurting it gravely. One tries to engulf her but she is too large.
Celia calls forth her Hound of Ill Omen to torment the nearest Shambling Mound. It bites the mound.
Master Creko runs in and activates his Staff of Tranquility, causing a spear point to appear out of the top.
He critically stabs at the nearest Mound to the door twice, killing it as it unravels in a mess on the floor.
Mordacai casts Toll the Dead on the Mound with Silk in it, hurting it some more.
The Blackstaff creates an Arc of Rainbows and shoots them at the Mounds (Prismatic Spray). She sculps it to hit just the one mound, which takes a bunch of acid to it and starts to turn brown.
With a charge past The Blackstaff and Master Creko, Aramil reaches the front and then whiffs both of his swings with his Warhammer in a hilarious display of evidence that this Cleric who should stick to Firearms.
Aramil casts Crusader's Mantle and everyone feels a little bolder. Seward gets another hit in on the empty Mound, and misses his second punch, but deals a little extra Radiant damage due to Aramil.
Silk escapes the Mound, which then attacks him but misses. One of the Mounds attacks and Grapples Aramil, but doesn't yet engulf him.
Master Creko kills the Shambling Mound that is grappling Aramil.
Mordacai kills the last Shambling Mound.
Session 27 - 04/04/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing)
----------------------------------------------------
There is slime on the ground of the next room that Master Creko runs into. There is an acidic stench.
There are frieze on the walls (relief carvings), depicting 5 black dragons, almost at ceiling heights.
Aramil tries to shoot the slime in this room as well with his empowered Rifle and it disappears.
He notices there are nozzles in the mouth of on of the frieze and points it out to the party.
All of the frieze seem to have nozzles in them. As the party leaves the room, Celia runs a bit ahead and steps in the grey slime.
She suddenly gets a bit of a headache and jumps back as Aramil shoots the slime.
Someone yells about people firing guns in their lake.
The small room has a control panel that seems to control the rooms. **There are more nozzles here: https://i.imgur.com/4Um8zwX.png**
The crystal under the 3 configuration on the wall is light up.
The Spirit of Wongo urges Mordacai to smash the control panel.
Celia heads to the middle room and Master Creko turns the blue dial left to the left and the crystal changes.
The gears turn and there is a gas pouring in to the room Celia is in. There is a rotting corpse in the small room that has opened up. It has a yellow banner.
Celia is strong though and manages to only take some of the damage from the strong gas and not get poisoned.
Master Creko turns the dial again to position 1 and there is a new room. Celia says it is just full of slime.
There are 5 teak wardrobes with a door with a carved scene on them.
There is a Adamantine Portcullis with 5 blood coloured drops above it.
Celia calls for Creko to turn it back and he does to config 3 and she returns to the party.
Creko turns the red dial and then we suddenly are telepathically linked to an Aboleth that seems annoyed we were shooting.
We all hear eachothers telepathic voices, all except Silk who was in the hallway.
The Aboleth says it's name is too complicated and old for us, but it does speak Aquan. It likes to hide in the water.
He tells us about an alternate entrance to some boats on the lake. Patriarch feels he may be lonely and wants to talk.
The Blackstaff suggests leaving Seward the Tomb Guardian at the controls and we can use the telepathic link.
Aramil heals Celia a bit and Silk lights up a Cigar and the smokes he blows out heals everyone a fair bit.
We head out and Seward changes back to config one. Aramil and Bradley go to check out the Yellow Banner corpse.
On the body Aramil finds a wallet and his name shows Lord Brixton, the leader of the Company of the Yellow banner. He has studded leather armour and a longsword with a dragon headed hilt.
He has a backpack containing 6 carnelian gemstones.
---
Lord Brixton Loot:
- **ID / Billfold** - Taken By Aramil
- **Yellow Band** - Taken By Aramil
- **Studded Leather Armour** - Taken By Aramil
- **Longsword with a Dragon-Head Hilt** - Taken By Aramil
- **Backpack** - Taken By Aramil
- **6 Carnelia Gemstones** - Taken By Aramil
---
**Aramil feels that the Longsword he found is somewhat magical and decides to attune to it. He learns Draconic through the sword. He Regains 1d6 hp at the start of each turn if he is over 1hp.**
Master Creko sees Aramil with his new bag and finds out about what happened and lets Seward know. He asks for the Yellow Band of Lord Brixton.
A crab seems to be chasing Silk around and it only seems to be interested in him. Master Creko picks it up when it stops and puts it on his shoulder.
Creko asks the voice if he wears clothes and he does not. The Blackstaff senses something is in the room. It is not the crab as Master Creko suggests.
Aramil kills off the slimes.
The Gate to leave here has a metal plate with 5 red blood drop shaped crystals inside.
Master Creko opens one of the Wardrobes and it's a volcano with 2 creatures with insectoid features and 4 arms each (Mezzoloth). The creatures hop through and the door behind us locks with an Adamantine gate.
Aramil casts Crusader's Mantle and the aura adds 1d4 radiant damage to all weapon attacks.
Master Creko tries to say hi to the Mezzoloths in Primordial but they don't respond. Instead the seem to threaten him with a trident.
He walks closer to them and says, "That's a nice Trident". Celia lobs a Fire Bolt but it misses.
The one Mezzoloth teleports near Aramil and Celia and then tries to summon a Yugoloth but it fails. The other tries as well near Creko and failed.
They stab Creko and Aramil for a little damage. Silk stabs on to death and Patriarch kills another with a Fire Bolt.
They disolve to Demon Ichor on the Ground. One of the blood-gems lights up.
The Blackstaff has a door open near her and a Servant of the Mechanist appears (or so she describes it). She wacks it, dealing force damage and destroys it.
The Second blood jem lights up.
Another wardrobe opens and there is an ancient Cementary through it. Bats come in and four glowing orbs shoot through. The Bats turn into a man.
Celia asks the man who he is. Silk realizes this is the Vampire Strahd. He was trying to get through for weeks to get Silk since the blood warnings.
Aramil shoots Strahd twice with his Rifle. Master Creko runs up and wacks Strahd twice, only hitting once.
Celia casts Fire Bolt on the Vampire.
Strahd looks around and then says, "I do not have time for this petty Squabbling" and then turns into mist and goes through the Gate as Creko tries to swing at them.
The Will-o'-Wisps shoot around the room and start attacking the party. As Celia is attacked she casts Hellish Rebuke and wounds the Wisp badly.
Silk finishes off the Wily Wounded Wisp with a stab and then misses on another.
Aramil shoots and misses one, and kills the other.
Master Creko finishes off another with his staff and then uses a Flurry of Blows to kill the last one.
Another Blood Jem glows.
Another wardrobe opens and it seems to lead to Acheron. Eight Half-Orcs pile out: https://i.imgur.com/Is280ri.png
Creko runs over in front of them all as Celia is Surrounded and then punches one, bloodying it.
Celia attacks one with a Fire Bolt and then the last Wardrobe opens, unleashing a devil of some sort.
Session 28 - 19/04/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing)
----------------------------------------------------
The Bone Devil looks at Aramil and he asks to make a deal with it. The Orcs start chopping again with their greataxes. Silk parries one, and Keshma the Dao takes a slash.
Aramil tries to make a trade for the Bone Devil to destroy the Soulmonger and stop Acererak from being able to come back to this plain for all of the Souls in the Soulmonger.
The Devil wants Bradley the Squire as well, but Aramil refuses.
Silk stabs through an Orc and he then gets a poke in on the Bone Devil.
Mordacai is pissed at overhearing the deal and fire a fireball at his feet while yelling "enough", skulpting it around the party and killing off the last four Orcs. The Bone Devil seems immune.
As the fire shoots out, Mordacai turns and stares at the Devil who turns and looks at him with what seems to be recognition.
The Blackstaff attacks the Bone Devil and the magical purple floating fist she conjurs misses.
Aramil prays for some divine intervention from Tempus. He asks for strength to send the demon back. Suddenly Aramil feels his strength increase.
The Cleric forces the cabinet open, and then knocks the Bone Devil over with a leg sweep via his Warhammer.
The Bone Devil starts to get sucked into the wardrobe and his claws leave marks on the floor until the ends snap, he flies through, and the wardrobe slams shut.
The last blood shaped jem lights up and the Portcullis lifts up.
Mordacai gives Aramil a drink as Master Creko moves in and pokes the slime in the hall, killing it with Radiant Damage from Aramil.
There are rotting corpses, armour pieces, weapon pieces, and coins all on the floor.
A large iron skull biting on an ivory ring is above the doorway.
Celia asks how Silk got his name and he tells her not to worry about it. She asks if it is because he is smooth and touches his face. Master Creko says it must be because he waxes.
Silk tosses out some ball bearing and they clack down the stairs and disintegate.
Mordacai animates an Orc and has it bring a greataxe down the stairs. All of it's nonmagical items disintegrates and it walks down the hall.
The Blackstaff points out the hallway is enchanted in some way. She doesn't think the effect can be dispelled as it is so large. She thinks this is designed to be dispelled a bit at a time to waste magical power.
Keshma says she can do this, but this will take one of the three chances. She can't disable it though, but she can bring out loot back after we go through.
The Blackstaff and Keshma try to find the origination and where the spell ends. There is a new spell every ten feet it seems, but it doesn't seem to be in the room beyond.
Master Creko asks about the staircase that makes you naked. He says that Withers mentioned it, and that teleporting past is the easy way.
We decide to have the party hop in the portable hole or drop items in. Celia and Creko get naked and Mordacai stays in his magic robes. We walk with the Orc and hed into the room.
Aramil hits on Celias "suit" as he hops into the portable hole.
We head to the electrical arcing room and smell oil and hot wind coming from it. Mordacai takes the hole to the staircase we find. The Zombie heads to the electrial room.
We watch the zombie. An arc of lightning zaps the Undead Orc and it seems to light up slightly as it just looks a little crispy and then blows away into ash.
We head down the stairs.
We find a green smoke filled room and Mordacai opens the bag and the party hops out. The party gets dressed back up.
There are 3 rocking chairs and some workbenches in the room. There is an iron cage with a prisoner. There are 5 window doors in the galleries up top around the edge.
There is a large Gate at the end of the room: https://i.imgur.com/LVTJXwJ.png
**The gas is residue from a Cloning Spell**.
The prisoner in the cage is near and Mordacai inspects him. He doesn't seem to have any scars. Mordacai asks "Who made you and why?".
As Mordacai looks closer, **he recognizes that Silk is in the cage.**
Suddenly three popping noises are heard and something teleports into the room. Three familiar looking hags (to Silk) appear in the room.
The hags are talking about the fourth hag not being able to make it.
The Blackstaff hides in the smoke and the Dao, Keshma, becomes small.
There is a straw doll (with needles in it) at the other side of the room, a stuffed monkey with a unicycle and a faceless doll on the other side of the room.
The clone Silk turns towards where Mordacai last was and see's him with his finger to his lips. He lies about seeing him and says he didn't see anything.
The one hag opens the cage and says Silk can go for his walk. They say he's what is keeping the real Silk alive.
The clone walks by us as he leaves. The hags talk about making more Silk clones with the extra hair but then argue and want to make one of Mordacai instead.
The hags start talking about going back out into the jungle and then Teleport out.
Celia talks to the Straw doll and is told the sisters are Night Hags nursing some creature on the other side of the gate.
They have been torturing Silk's clone in the cage. He has Silk's memories. The smoke starts to dissapate in the room.
Silk and Aramil open a door on the left Gallery. There is a man inside preparing a meal. Aramil is caught opening the door.
The man was arranging items on the cake table, but he gestures for those at the door to enter.
Bradley the Squire seems to be urged to take all the cakes. Mordacai seems to be urged to try the boar. Aramil says food and Celia wants some.
The man in the suit gives a bow and says the hags have prepared the feast for us. He calls himself a scarecrow and says he cannot eat.
Aramil stops Celia from entering to eat. Silk hits the man if the face with his sword pommel and it dents in, showing some straw behind.
Silk stabs the man with a torch and he bursts into flames and he just salutes and bows as he burns away.
Aramil and Silk try to force Master Creko out and he starts walking up the wall toward the ceiling. He thinks it's rude. Mordacai smells the food and starts to be inticed.
Silk starts to burn everything and him and Aramil leave. Creko sneaks in and creates water and then puts out the fire.
Master Creko grabs some of everything and tries it all out. He suddenly feels stronger (has advantage on strength checks), he feels healhier (2d10 temp hp), d8 add to a d20.
Everyone else is cursed with crippling hunger (disadvantage on attack rolls, checks and saving throws). Silk uses greater restoration on himself to remove the curse.
Mordacai and Aramil both remove their curses. Celia complains about being hungry and says Aramil won't let her in there. Aramil lets her off, but she still doesn't eat any.
Aramil removes the curse from Celia as well and she stops being hungry.
Master Creko picks up the Monkey on a Wheel (named Joho) to bring with him (Helm of Comprehend languages benefits). This monkey can't speak and coughs violently when it tries.
Mordacai opens a room and finds a broken mirror. Aramil asks the Blackstaff to try and open the gate. She tries to cast Shatter on the door, but it does nothing.
The door attacks her back, sending the Blackstaff flying 45 feet into the wall. Electricity dances around her and she cough as smoke shoots off of her.
She looks visibly weak. Aramil helps her up. We only have one of the "Skeleton Keys". The Blackstaff decides to rest.
Master Creko asks if the Dao can help. Keshma offers to teleport us to the other side of the door.
Mordacai finds another room with a 5ft wide floor to ceiling glass cylinder that is filled with light. The source isn't apparent and there is a triangular hole through the glass.
There is a lever inside that is on plate on the floor in the glass. Mordacai tries to Mage Hand the lever. As he pulls the lever, the hole on the gate that was triangular rolls open showing the key.
Master Creko heads into the room that Mordacai was afraid of. "Piggy Piggy Piggy" is written in blood.
Creko lights the five candles and says "Piggy, Piggy, Piggy!" loudly. On the ground there is a sixth candle, he lights it and places it, and then repeats the phrase.
There is an image on the mirror of two levers on the wall that aren't there when looking at the room.
Master Creko tries to pull both at the same time with his staff and his hand. The hex shaped seal rolls to the side exposing the key hole.
The bottom lever causes three pigs to appear. The door behind Creko shuts and locks. Creko stands still and focuses, using his tranquility to cast Santuary on himself.
Silk puts the triangular key in the hole. He notices the seals are exposing more holes as people do things in other rooms.
A mass of Tomb Dwarves come in with a keyring and ask Silk to move aside to do maintenance on the dungeon. The gate needs to come down for maintenance.
They were told to do this prior to Withers to die. They flip all the traps to expose the other keyholes and then open the door with their keys.
They undo the gate from the hinges and pull the gate down, and walk away with the door.
Celia asks the dwarf where Acererak is, but he says he doesn't know. He tells her to not go down the stairs because she hasn't gotten access to it yet.
The Dwarves say they will send some Tomb Guardians down to make sure they don't go downstairs. Silk offers to guard it with Aramil and they manage to convince him.
Mordacai makes an illusion of the door in it's place to guard the way. The dwarves leave.
Master Creko is fighting 3 pigs in a room. We are about to go Whole Hog!
He asks if the pigs come here often. They say they do come often for stupid adventurers. They say they can't leave the room or they will die.
They seem to want to die. Master Creko tries to convince them to leave and kill themselves. They unlock the door and then fall over dead as they leave.
The hags reappear having not having found the party in the Jungle and yell, "There they are!". Aramil shoots at them.
They don't seem to spot Silk, but mention Mordacai who they want to clone.
**Silk leaves and heads down the stairs, into a hot room holding a glass edifice as well as a floating stillborn fetus attached to the Soulmonger
https://i.imgur.com/nZJzibK.png
The fetus absorbs the souls cloing from the Soulmonger.***
The hags yell for Aramil to shut up and say that Silk is here somewhere.
Master Creko starts hitting on them. They call for Silk to come back from his walk.
The one with the bag over her head and using animals to talk seems to want to keep Creko and they continue to flirt as she points out the Aquan heritage he has.
Celia backs out through the illusion as Silk takes the bomb out of the portable hole.
Aramil lies about not knowing Silk and they detect him lying. He says he has seen the man in the cage before, so if that's a Silk then he's seen that one.
They decide to kill the Silk Clone. They say if he dies Aramil's Silk dies.
Mordacai backs out through the door. Peggy the Hag notices this and calls it out.
Mordacai, Silk and Celia try to formulate a plan as Acererak arrives on the other side.
Aramil shouts to the Blackstaff to protect the clone and get it out of here. She casts a Globe of Invulnerability on herself and protects them both.
He then asks Keshma to get rid of the hags. They counterspell the Dao, wasting one of our wishes.
**The Silk Clone stabs the Blackstaff. His sneak attack hits her in the back. Her spell fades as she lets out a wimper of "Why?" and falls to the ground.**
The Hags attack Aramil and Keshma with magic missles. The hags ignore Master Creko as she
The "toys" as well as Keshma go to sleep with a spell. The hag takes the Dao out of this plain of existence.
As Celia seems to be turning to return to the hags, Acererak says she shouldn't go to the other room.
Acererak offers anything she wants if she leaves his Cradle. Silk calls him a bitch again.
Celia's co-inhabitant tells her she could do this deal. She backs up and casts Darkness on herself.
**This is the fetus thing (Atropal):** https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/marketplace/373592/o_mTFQqODNOe86WFr9rFaw/max.png?1498569621&1504829637
Acererak heads over to Celia and dispells her Darkness and then waves at her. Celia waves back.
The Atropal summons a wraith. Mordacai attacks it's wraith and then the Aboleth wails, causing everyone except Mordacai to become exhausted.
Acererak his Silk with a Ray of Frost. Silk tries to snag Acererak with his grappling hook and rope, but it misses. He tries a shot with a crossbow but it doesn't do anything.
Master Creko lays his hands on The Blackstaff and brings her back up with 30 hp and then Douses the Flames of War in the Clone of Silk, so he can't attack for 5 minutes.
Acererak tries to summon a Sphere of Annihilation and then realizes that he doesn't have it (Mordacai does).
The hags are pissed about the Clone Silk becoming more friendly. The hag casts Hold Person on Master Creko who just ignores it. The other tries to attack Creko and hits with her claws.
Baggy attacks the Blackstaff, almost killing her.
Celia runs away from Acererak and back to the hags. She hastens her spell and casts Witch Bolt on Baggy the Haggy but misses.
Session 29 (I missed)
----------------------
Fighting Acererak and the Atropal. Silk set off the bomb and Mordacai severed the attachment of the Atropal and took it's place. The Blackstaff wasn't a fan, so she lost the fight with Mordacai. Some died, others escaped. Pandjed was brought back.
Session 30 - 31/05/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing)
----------------------------------------------------
The party is teleported back into the city of Waterdeep.
Aramil and Celia are inside of the Margaster Estate. Kurious and Master Creko were brought back at the House of Heroes. Kurious just walks out without Creko.
This House sponsers a Gladiatorial arena call the Field of Triumph just outside of the House of Heroes.
Aramil looks for Alaeros Margaster (red-head and nordic looking with some long hair and beard) to tell him of having completed his mission, his father.
They had just returned from an Estate of one of the Masked Lords. He was murdered.
Aramil tells him that the death curse is gone and the Soulmonger was destroyed.
His step-mother comes in and checks on him (he's a bastard child, half-elf).
Celia asks a local to point her to the local tavern. He asks what she is looking for and she says a Cold Beer. He recommends the Angel's Respite at Trollskull Alley (somewhat owned by Kurious and owned by Ragnar). Celia heads there and it is full of beautiful women and a fancy magical fountain.
She gets 2 glasses of Red Dragon Crush wine as they are known for magical wine here. It tastes of berries and grapes and goes down smooth.
Master Creko pays some local children to post messages at all the drinking holes for his party to meet in the City of the Dead.
Strix is worries about Asmodeus knowing about her growing stronger so Mordacai and Pandjed are being sent to Waterdeep through a shadow-portal.
She says she will call for Mordacai again soon. Both bow and leave through the portal.
They step out and end up in a 6ft deep hole that seems freshly dug. Pandjed pulls himself out and offers and hand to Mordacai.
Mordacai notices Master Creko's weird hair sitting under a tree 100ft away. He's surprised to see Master Creko is still alive.
Pandjed sneaks off to find the Margaster Estate.
Celia gets one of the notices and the barkeep directs her to the City of the Dead. She stumbles out of the bar and reaches some stairs and trips at the top.
She eventually makes it and finds Master Creko and Mordacai. She asks if we have found Aramil yet, and Master Creko says no. She offers to lead the way back.
Pandjed reaches the Margaster Estate and cases the joint. He sneaks in and climbs his way up to Aramil's room and sees him hiding in bed.
The sleeping half-elf pulls his revolver on the Dragonborn. Pandjed explains that a mutual friend sent him and this will benefit him.
Pandjed wants Aramil to back the new Blackstaff. Aramil is apprehensive at first due to the espionage.
Aramil wants Pandjed to leave and the Dragonborn explains the new Blackstaff is Mordacai as he leaves.
Pandjed opens a door into a wormhole looking dimension and disappears.
Cut back to Celia, Mordacai, and Master Creko as they arrive at the estate. Aramil's step-mother knocks on his door, saying a girl is here to see him.
She describes her as a 5ft Red Tiefling with urchin's clothes. Aramil ties to find his Squire, but he's not around, and talks to Celia, who points to Creko outside with Mordacai.
They catch up and decide to head off together. Mordacai said something about offering Celia a job she reiterates. He says he will talk to her later.
They have to return Scortral's stuff he says. The fallen party member is told, and Mordacai asks about Craigsmorn.
We head the Blackstaff tower to check it out and for Mordacai to read about Craigsmorn.
**An old man approaches before we reach the tower and he puts his hand on Mordacai's shoulder and says that destiny is funny but if you keep an open mind and heart you will find your own destiny some day. The rotund old man bows and says he hopes Mordacai will choose happiness over power one day.**
Creko asks who it was: Mordacai has no idea. Creko cracks some jokes, and then the party moves on to Blackstaff tower.
It's big, has Gargoyles, and is mostly square. This is essentially a school for Wizards who will be successors one day.
We approach the large black door and it has a Raven Knocker on it that seems to be staring. The knocker says hello, and Mordacai responds asking to come in.
He tells the knocker he's the new blackstaff and a female talks from behind him. It's Lady Silverhand, the Open Lord of Waterdeep.
She seems confused that this would be the replacement and wants to know how the Blackstaff met him. Mordacai explains what happened in Chult and getting the staff passed onto him.
He explains his typical tasking with his Guild of Mages.
She only wants a good successor, so she asks what happened to the Blackstaff. He explains about Acererak and her being lost to the Soul Monger.
Aramil steps up to back Mordacai. As the Open Lord leaves, she refers to Mordacai as the Blackstaff and says not the Squander her Ex-Husbands job and title as he holds a part of his soul in the staff.
She threatens him if anything happens to the staff and Mordacai says he will protect it with his life. She tells him to work on customizing the tower as he sees fit.
The Doorknocker asks if Mordacai is saying he murdered the Blackstaff. He doesn't believe him and keeps yelling out. Mordacai stuff's the Doorknocker's mouth.
He takes the Doorknocker off and throws it in his bag of holding.
Mordacai calls upon Lady Strix for a new Doorknocker. She sends a Bone-Devil to him and he becomes the Doorknocker. It asks to be attached and Mordacai installs it and gives it a fist bump.
**Mordacai decides to move the school from the Blackstaff Tower to the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors with the backing of House Margaster as well from Aramil. The Open Lord is convinced and allows it.
He is told that as Blackstaff he is the big red key to activate a group of highly trained adventurers as the last defense of Waterdeep. They are known as Force Grey, or the Greyhands.**
They can only be activated with the Open Lord's authority, but he can choose and train those that make it in. He also controls the Walking Statues of Waterdeep for defense.
Mordacai find out that there are dwarven followers of Berronar that are under the Cloudpeaks to the South.
He also tasks his mages to maintain a teleportation circle inside the tower until he can make a permanent one.
He also searches for some new robes in the Tower. He finds some and packs them to take a look later.
The party searches for a teleportation circle to Baldur's Gate via Mordacai's new Blackstaff position.
Aramil takes 10pp and 100gp from his Family's treasury.
We take the teleport with Pandjed and in the plaza we land we are approached to have a tour of "The City of Blood".
We accept the tour after Creko chimes in and Aramil agrees. We are recommend Elf-Song Tavern with a baby beholder head on the wall.
Celia hits on Pandjed and he tells her to buzz off and a slut. He then just walks away.
The tour guide pulls a dagger, and tells us to hand over our coinpurses. Pandjed disintegates him instantly and Mordacai traps his soul.
Creko isn't happy and asks if Pandjed is always like this.
Aramil funds some horses, but Master Creko walks instead and seems to keep up with no effort.
**We reach Beregost** and stop for supplies and to rest.
As we enter the Burning Wizard tavern there is a charred post from a fire that happened long ago. It seemed like someone was burned here.
Celia hops up and says to check it out, and the post breaks. The patrons in the establishment look at her and see the broken relic.
Celia says they should have put a barrier around it and the crowd seems to back her. Celia tries to poistion it so it's standing a bit again, and it just falls as she walks into a big man looking down on Celia.
Master Creko says they have more sticks and wizards, and just to burn another one.
Aramil offers 1pp to calm the situation. The proprietor asks someone to grab a log, burn it, and put it in place.
Master Creko spots 5 monks leaving the establishment and follows them through Beregost around 30 or so paces behind sneaking. One of the monks catches a glimpse of Creko and then sees he is no longer there and rubs his eyes and blames the drink.
They head down an alley.
**A sixth man appears in the alley. He is dripping wet, with white skin and his eyes are blood red. He looks like he has been drowned. Master Creko believes this is Master Draibold.**
Session 31 - 07/06/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing, Kitkat and Khunkurisu Join)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The party decides to head to Candlekeep and tries to find a carvan heading there that needs guards.
We end up just riding on our own with Master Creko walking.
The party comes across a wagon the side of the road with a broken wheel, but he can't keep the wagon jacked up long enough to put the wheel back on.
Master Creko walks over and there are also some people in the back of the cart.
Creko asks why the others aren't helping. He says he is trying to impress them.
The Master coaxes the reason he won't ask for help out, and it's because he "thinks they are fine".
Creko helps. There are four people in the cart, two male, two female. The men are asleep.
Aramil wakes up the two sleeping men when he arrives and asks them to help. A Wizard gets up and asks why he is being bothered.
The men, Bradley, Aramil, and Creko all pickup the wagon so that the man can reattach the wheel.
Celia picks up the cart and moves it back on the road for the party with Telekinesis with the two females inside.
Creko makes fun of the driver for hitting a rock and the party leaves.
We reach the city's gates and see a tall lighted tower inside of Candlekeep.
A monk comes out and halts us. They are the Avowed. They are protectors of knowledge and of Candlekeep.
He asks what we will turn into the library for the entrance fee and what we seek.
Creko offers a Tome of Clear Thought but backs out when he finds out it's just for entrance to read some books.
Celia offers a spell written on her deck of cards (Deck of Many Things).
Master Creko offers a few insults and then a self-authored Tome on the History of The Temple of the Way of Tranquility.
We are allowed entrance to Candlekeep. Mordacai talks to his staff about taking it to nice places and hears the last Blackstaff saying he shouldn't be taking her anywhere.
Pandjed and Celia research Tiamat.
Creko meets a strange Female Barbarian (Redheaded) and tries to talk her into training in the Way of Tranquility.
Master Creko runs up with her, and then jumps off, slowly falling. She follows and does a roll on the ground, making in through sheer strength.
Pandjed, Celia, and Aramil show up and
Creko create a 10 gallon cube of water around his head and starts breathing it. She puts her head in after punching it a bit and then she starts holding her breath.
After 6 minutes she struggles and then 3 minutes later she passes out.
Creko uses Shape Water to stop her from drowning and Nalyssia shows up to find her friend. A monk comes up, touches Aramil in three places, and then the Cleric falls prone.
Nalyssia asks why Creko is there. The Barbarian asks where Bear and Moose are. Creko asks if they brough bears into a library as two mastiffs charge her and knock her down.
Celia asks to pet them and she is allowed.
Nalyssia asks who Creko is and then introduces herself. She turns to Celia and complains about her clothing and then casts up a door and tries to drag Celia in.
There seems to be a long room inside the door full of clothing and a mirror.
Creko asks for the Barbarian's name and is given "Lion". He says she doesn't look like one and suddenly her hair turns white and fur sprouts from her neck.
Creko says she doesn't look like a Lion but looks like someone wearing a fur coat wrong. She flies into a rage and her spectral ancestors appear in the form of lions.
Lion looks more beast-like and she is surrounded by spectral white lions. Eight monks walk over to contain this.
Master Creko says that she is a dogwalker with twelve ugly looking dogs to the monks. A minute later he rage fades and only her two mastiffs remain.
Pandjed disappears while the situation is going on.
Celia gets outfitted by Nalyssia and then they reappear. Celia is in new clothing and seems unhappy. She's in a frilly dress with a big bow on the front.
Mordacai explains their quest for returning Scortral's items. We walk and talk and run across Aramil outside of the city limits.
Aramil seems to be flirting with Nalyssia. He explains some of what happened before.
Nalyssia uses Message to let Aramil know that Lion will take anything he says as a challenge.
Creko asks why Celia looks cranky and she talks about her new clothing. Creko pokes fun at her using darkness to hide the clothes, and then she does it.
When her tantrum ends the two parties mount up together.
Nalyssia says she will join up with us as she and Lion have been looking for something to occupy their time. Aramil hits on Nalyssia during the travels and tries to ask if she can teach him some stealth skills while mildly insulting her.
We stop in Beregost. Creko pulls Aramil aside and confides in him about Draibold being spotted. Aramil gives him 4pp to try.
Mordacai, Lion, and Nalyssia overhear and offer to help.
After some arguing Nalyssia calls down her raven and asks it to help find some monks.
The bird comes back saying five monks are on the back of a large dragon with a fortress on it's back.
It points up and we see the giant blue dragon flying around the town with a stone keep on its back. It's around 100ft in the sky.
Lion says she can bring it down if we get up there.
Mordacai runs back into the bar to get Celia. Celia is awoken and she casts Fly on Lion. Nalyssia says she can fly as well.
Mordacai plans to take Master Creko up and Celia will take Aramil with a Dimension Door each.
Nalyssia messages to Lion to tell her not to take it down, but to board it, but she seems to ignore it and heads straight for the head.
Nalyssia continues to try to persuade her, saying she can fight the dragon later after dealing with the monks.
Lion stops mid-flight.
The party reaches the top of the dragon and the keep seems like a Monestary. Lion walks up and knocks on the door to no answer. After the party yells to her, she tries to open it.
Lion smashes the door with her Greatclub and it breaks in two, hitting a monk and killing him. She immediately declares victory.
Draibold and the other 3 monks turn around, and she introduces herself. She calls Master Creko over.
Creko insults Draibold, who says he has been sent back because he "has a mission". He says "The Old One" has brought him back as some sort of God.
The Barbarian calls him washed up and the fighting starts.
Lion immediately flies into a rage and lays into Draibold twice with her Greatclub.
The Blood Armour of Draibold returns half the damage to her. Lion's Dogs try to bite, but fail to hit.
Mordacai fires a Fireball, incinerating all but one of the lowly monks and wounding Draibold.
Master Creko runs in with his Defender and hits once, then punches Draibold. He takes some of the damage back from the Blood Armour as well.
Celia runs in and provokes an oppertunity of attack. The attacker is about to land with his mace and Lion reacts with a Spirit Shield.
Her ancestors block the damage and return it to the monk, killing him.
Celia casts a Disintegrate on Draibold, but he uses his Legendary Resistance to avoid it.
Nalyssia casts Eldritch Blast on Draibold, but it doesn't hit. She quickly attempts to banish Draibold, but he uses his last bit of Legendary Resistance to avoid it.
Draibold turns to Mordacai and tries to cast Finger of Death on him, but is immediately counterspelled. He instead slams his staff down an calls out, "Rise!".
Mordacai is angry that Draibold stole his shtick as all the monks comes back to life.
Lion attempts to grab the Drowned Monk by his feet to smash him into the ground. She grabs him sucessfully, and then smashes his face into the ground behind her, cracking the ground. Draibold doesn't seem to be damaged too much at this point.
Both of the Mastiffs miss their bites on the prone and grappled undead...
Mordacai uses Superior Invisibility to disappear.
Creko runs in and attacks four times. The Blood Armor tries to bite back and Lion absorbs a massive amount of the damage with her Ancestors and returns it.
Draibold casts Blade Ward on himself.
Celia runs in, casting Thunder Step and teleports to behind Draibold, and then quickly casts Disintegrate on him, hurting him badly.
Nalyssia fires three rays from her Eldritch blasts, hitting twice.
Draibold attempts to Teleport out and gets Counterspelled by Nalyssia who taunts him.
Lion chops at him with her Scimitar, hitting the Blade Ward and hitting well and then chopping his head off.
As the vessel is destroyed, it turns to ash. Mordacai attempts to take Draibold's soul, but there is nothing to steal.
The ash blows away as Lion's dogs tear the last undead monk apart.
Lion attempts to grab onto the Dragon's wing and as she grapples it successfully.
The Ancient Blue Dragon starts to descend as it can't flap one of its wings.
Session 32 - 14/06/2020 (PushingDaisies is missing)
-----------------------------------------------------
Mordacai runs out of the castle and then warns everyone else to leave.
Master Creko runs out of the monastery and jumps off of the dragon while it is nearing 100ft in the air.
Celia breaks her concentration on Lion's flight and then casts it again on herself so she can leave the dragon. She flys away.
Nalyssia flys over to Lion and tries to convince her to let go of the dragon as she doesn't want the dragon to eat the party.
Lion says she promised she could attack the dragon when we were done. Nalyssia gives up and flys off a bit.
Aramil grabs Bradley and waits for the crash.
With a crack, Lion snaps a bone in the Dragon's wing. It roars and winces, shooting a beam of radiant light.
The Invisible Mordacai grabs Bradley and then Dimension Doors both of them away as the dragon hits the ground on the outskirts of town.
Aramil Death Wards himself to be ready for the fall.
Both Aramil and Lion get battered in the fall, but Lion goes in to club the Dragon while it's down.
Mordacai invisibly tells Bradley to run so he doesn't get hurt.
Master Creko slowly falls and lands next to the scared Bradley. He stares at the Dragon, assuming it is dead.
With her Tiefling eyes she only sees a dust cloud. She says "they are real?" and then she passes out and falls out of the sky and onto the ground.
Aramil moves away from the Large Dragon Shaped Object in the cloud of dust and Cure's his Wounds, then hides low to the ground.
Nalyssia sees everyone except for Lion and Aramil, but hears the Dragon cry out in pain, so she assumes that is Lion. She sends her Raven in to take a look and it finds Lion beating on the wing of the Dragon still.
The Dragon fans away the dust cloud with its wing and reveals the area. Mordacai, Aramil, and Master Creko fall prone and get a little hurt from the spill.
With a whip, the Dragon's tail hits Lion and bruises her a bit.
Suddenly Lion's Ancestral Spirits comes out. 7 Angry White Spectral Lions front and roar and the Dragon and she roars with them.
The Dragon calls her foolish and says it will snack on her for breaking its wing as she swings on it, hurting it again.
Mordacai gets back out, dusts himself off, and then casts a Fireball on the Dragon. Lion takes another swipe from the Dragon's tail.
Aramil tries to Blind/Deafen the Dragon, but it's Legendary Resistance stops the effects.
With her staff, Nalyssia casts a powerful fireball and Mordacai seems a bit impressed.
With a deep breath, the Dragon shoots lightning at Lion, badly bloodying her. Lion screams, "Is that all you got?".
As she leaps, Lion grabs a hold of the Dragon's bottom jaw and dangles from it. She clambers up into its mouth.
Spikes rip into Aramil as the Dragon's Tail hits him, but Lion's Spirit Shield stops a lot of the damage and returns it to the Ancient Winged Beast's tail directly.
Mordacai runs up a bit. Creko starts to meditate in protest of the violence. Mordacai then runs up and then uses a Wish Spell to use Simulacrum to create a second Lion.
The second Lion's own Spectral Ancestors appear and it readies up.
Celia finally awakes and she sees the two lions and the scene. She asks Nalyssia what is happening and she tries to explain it a bit and says "barbarian smash". She then casts Expedious Retreat and then hides in the grass.
Aramil tries to move closer to Bradley again and then casts Blindness/Deafness again but the Dragon Legendarily Resists it.
He then pulls out Wave and starts a prayer to Tempus.
Nalyssia aims her Staff of the Magi at the original Lion and enlarges her. The Dragon wails as her weight increases on it's jaw.
The Angry Dragon claws Lion twice and bites her as well. Lion starts to fall unconcious and then seems to get even angrier with a Relentless Rage.
Lion looks almost dead but she braces herself and tries to bash the Ancient Dragon's lower jaw up. She manages to do so in a fit of rage and greatly wounds the Ancient Dragon and cracks it's jaw.
The second Lion is thrown a warhammer and it Recklessly Attacks the Dragon with it and then she Shifts and looks more like a lion.
Mordacai starts to cast Dawn and becomes visible, but the Dragon starts to counterspell it. Nalyssia counterspells the Dragon's counterspell. Mordacai overcharges the Dawn and the dragon isn't looking so good. Mordacai looks at Aramil and nods at him.
Creko continues to sit it out as Celia joins him sitting down and offers him a sip from her waterskin of ale. He says, "no thank you".
Aramil helps Lion with a Healing Word.
Nalyssia uses her staff to cast another powerful Fireball inside of the earhole of the Dragon and it screams in pain as it is deaf in one ear.
With anger, the Dragon turns its head to stare at Nalyssia.
The Dragon claws at the original Lion and the second Lion uses Spirit Shield to save her and harm the Dragon. The second claw strikes true and draws blood.
With a floppy bite, Lion falls unconcious and then falls to the ground.
The Dragon takes another hit from Mordacai's Dawn and a little second Lion fails to be useful. It responds by hitting Lion, killing her as she shrinks back down to size.
Mordacai calls out for Pandjed, but gets no response. He then fires a powerful Fireball, killing the Dragon. As it convulses, Mordacai captures it in a coin.
The small Lion starts to chop the horn off the Ancient Blue Dragon's face.
Aramil asks if anyone has any Diamonds so he can revive her, but nobody does.
The second Lion covers the old Lion and places the Horn behind her. Lion says something to her copy, which the others don't see.
Then she grabs the Luck Blade and ties to use the Wish spell on it to revive the original Lion. She fails as she isn't attuned to it.
Mordacai says not to worry about it, he can bring her back. He just needs to rest up and prepare the spell.
The second Lion wears the gear of the first and goes to the town, saying the Lion is the God who took down the Dragon.
She says the God's name was "Kiara Leona".
Mordacai asks for help with skinning the Dragon.
Nalyssia uses Speak With Dead on the Ancient Blue Dragon. She asks why he was carrying around people.
He said he was with **The Kracken Society**, who worshipped some sort of Kracken.
The Kracken was apparently good enough to subugate the Ancient Dragon so it must be powerful.
Their Kracken of Worship was named **Slarkrethel**. With the mention of the name, Nalyssia feels a small planar disturbance as the grass blows over as if an invisible force just radiated out.
She asks the Dragon's name.
Aramil says that the second Lion lies and the first Lion isn't a god. She punches Aramil, who shoots her.
You can see clean through the hole in her form, and it's white all around.
Aramil asks Mordacai for help but he just starts a discussion.
The town says they will revere Kiara Leona as the savior of Beregost.
Lion tries to bite off Aramil's nose, but Mordacai tells it not to and the simulacrum obeys.
Master Creko calls out Mordacai for saying he was a necromancer and someone in the crowd yells out, "what?".
Mordacai gives some rules to the simulacrum (that mirror the 3 Laws of Robotics).
He then tasks the simulacrum to oversee the harvesting so that nobody does anything stupid.
The party rests as Nalyssia leaves her Raven to watch over Lion's corpse, which is in Mordacai's Tiny Hut.
Bradley politely complains about hurting a woman. He also points out that he is cohorting with the devil through Pandjed and Mordacai.
He points out the murder of the Blackstaff and Aramil puts him in his place.
**Bradley drops his bag and starts to leave. Aramil tells him he fails his family if he leaves and Bradley leaves.**
Nalyssia overhears this from the Raven later, as it leave its form to that of an imp and slaps her awake.
She complains about being awoken like this but Colin says she's too heavy of a sleeper since the fight didn't awaken her.
Apparently the new Archdevil of the first layer of hell walks the material plane.
It recommends she uses this to try to usurp the new arch-devil and take it's place.
The imp also tells her that Mordacai kiled the Blackhand.
Mordacai tries some philosophical converstions with his Simulacrum. He says he won't dispell it. It can stay in Beregost, live in Mordacai's tower, or do whatever it likes.
He says it should talk to the original Lion if it is revived. He tries to shake hands with it, but it is crying and angry.
It seems that it is upset it is not the original. As the tears hit the ground they turn to ice.
The simulacrum possibly wants to die. He says he will leave most of the money from harvesting the dragon to the simulacrum.
Mordacai stands over the body of the Lion and then uses Wish to emulate Resurrection to bring her back.
He feels like something just locked shut in front of him when he tries to take her soul back.
"You may not have her." is heard. From "The Gods". They do not will that she comes back. They hold her soul from Mordacai.
She has committed Heresy by being a false god. They say if Mordacai is so bold as to get her back, he needs to come get her.
Mordacai offers removing the religion, but they say no and that he has fallen as well. He has lost his way and what he once represented.
He leaves the Tiny Hut and then goes to talk with the party.
The party is gathered and he explains that she can not be revived as she is seen as a god.
Second Lion asks why we don't try to take down the gods?
Creko and the simulacrum fight. Nalyssia says that the dragon would have hurt the town anyway.
She also brings up Bradley leaving and snarks at Mordacai.
Mordacai continues to point out that he was unable to revive her. The simulacrum calls him a coward who broke his promise.
Nalyssia yells at Lion and she sulks.
Mordacai asks the Simulacrum what the customs are of those whose die in her custom. She says, a burning boat.
They decide to keep her body intact to try to bring it back later.
Nalyssia talks about how she spoke to the dragon and the power the name held when spoken.
Mordacai and Aramil step outside and then Mordacai dimension doors them near a roof and they rope trick and head inside.
Aramil warns that Bradley yelled out that Mordacai killed the Blackstaff and that most of the party probably heard it.
They seem to be plotting to "disappear" Bradley so he doesn't speak, but Mordacai talks against it.
Mordacai offers editing his memory and having Pandjed do it.
They settle on a handsign for when they need to talk about something again.
The group finishes harvesting the Dragon and Mordacai is charged 1000gp for the caravan back. He gives a little up front and then says they will get paid when they arrive at the Blackstaff's Tower.
Nalyssia finds a necklace to buy with a pink heart shaped diamond in the middle. She pays 100gp and uses a key she is given to unlock the locked box.
She casts Detect Magic on the necklace and finds it is enchanted.
**Eventually she asks Mordacai to identify it (secretly, it doesn't require attunement). (She gains a flaw, "There's always someone out to get me.")**
