## Points covered
- **Ramming.**
- Don't do it.
- Be concious of keeping your distance and not directly ramming vehicles.
- **Radio Comms.**
- At times really good so people know how to do it.
- FTO+: 10-3 the radio and use TACs!
- **Don't use trunks and hoods for bulletproof cover.**
- Especially when you are driving.
- Civs will start doing it too and we should be the example, not the problem.
- **Interviews are done, academy incoming.**
- Lots of people with prior LEO experience.
- Academy coming soon.
- Cadet Phase is a max of 3 weeks.
- Unless there's some extenuating circumstances provided to command.
- **Burnout.**
- If the little things start bothering you, take a break.
- It's healthy.
- If you want to RP here still, you can play an alt.
- It'll break frustration and make you enjoy if more when you come back.
- **Don't rush from scene to scene.**
- Enjoy the RP and finish your scene.
- Pace yourself.
- If something gets missed, it gets missed.
- **Report Writing.**
- Has improved.
- Make sure you are adding as much detail as you need.
- Records/notes, crime reports, statements, etc, all have specifics needed.
- Make sure Warrants have all the info.
- You need enough info in the warrant to serve it with that alone.
- Time and Date (include it, even put your timezone in if you don't know the conversion).
- **Record your gameplay!**
- If you can record, make sure you do.
- Everyone can with OBS and Shadowplay
- That way you can report any issues and clean up the community.
- People who keep getting away with it will continue to break rules or assume it was fine.
- You also can save your own ass if someone tries to burn you in a report by lying.
- **Chain of Command.**
- Talk to Sgts first.
- If you are complaining about a person of a given rank, go one above.
- It's far too busy for Command to handle first point of contact on every request and still be active.
- **Don't Chase Promotions.**
- Things that don't exclusively get you promoted (considered, not required):
- How long you've been with the Department.
- How many hours a day you play.
- Exemplar conduct and performance lead to promotions.
- Outstanding people get promoted.
- Merit leads to promotion, not time.
- Don't complain about people who were promoted.
- We have a vast variety of Supervisor+ making these decisions.
- We don't always agree and do plenty of discussion.
- If you have a complaint or want to comment, go to a Supervisor+ and discuss it.
- Getting Salty over promotions won't help you any.
- Talk about how you can improve and not why others don't deserve promotions.
- **You guys do great!**
- We are addressing all the small issues that come up.
- But the LEO here is the exemplary party for RP at NDRP.
- We must be better leaders in the community as well as we can.
- We sometimes have issues, but overall we do great.
- We don't have the serious isuses that other communities have.
- That's because of the work you all put in.
- **MCD**
- In the "MCD and You" doc, the wrong template was included (it was a case template).
- This has been corrected: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tyyW-ufAM36emRsEtZ7y_yomP8BCTj7PVURFoJ0w9_A/edit
- MCD is a part of the team.
- When they aren't responding on the radio, they probably aren't available.
- They get the joy of compiling and writing 30+page documents.
- You can always call through the app if you need advice.
- Don't use them to drop your prisoners on.
## Open Floor
- **Joey Solace:** If you are getting rammed into a wall, what do you do?
- If you are getting rammed, warn them with the megaphone and defend your life.
- **Joey Solace:** When should you come to Supervisor+ if you feel you should be promoted?
- We typically talk to people about what their issues are anway.
- Feel free to reach out regardless.
- **Jake Evans:** What are you doing to fix the EU shift?
- We can't make EU people apply.
- We also can't help if they don't interview well.
- Our EU people don't all play EU hours.
- If you have friends who play EU, get them to apply next round!
- **Chris Wolf:** EU shift, missing supervisors to shift threat levels.
- We don't do threat levels anymore.
- Most of the EU shift does have a supervisor on, we log it
- We have promoted people in that shift.
- **George Costello:** Can we link something in the warrant (like a report number) instead of leaving it all in there?
- A Google Doc is fine if it is including everything.
- If you add a report number, make sure it also includes everything needed for an arrest.
- **Tommy Tesco:** Using Chargers too often for crims, how many on duty?
- There are no limits currently.
- Police should only be pulling chargers when needed.
- In the cities, the Taurus and others can keep up fine.
- **Junior Major**: If you have a Bad 50 (crash), make sure you act like you were in a serious accident.
- Crims may run, we shouldn't.
- **Vernon Tubbs:** If you are in a robbery and another pops up, let someone else try to do it.
- On the radio, don't rush your comms to try and get a scene first.
- Small scenes
- **Liam Cavanagh:** Can't we make all of the chargers worse and all the other police cars better.
- No.
- Take out some different vehicles and
- **Joey Solace:** Can we get assigned vehicles?
- Writing a system for it would take away huge amounts of time from dev currently.
- Lots of exploits that would need to be patched.
- **Chris Solace:** If you arrive to a robbery, don't be afraid to take primary!
- Don't roll in slow to try to get there second so you don't have to deal with a hostage.
- **Blake Taylor:** Asked about using report #s in Warrants.
- Reclarified:
- > If you add a report number, make sure it also includes everything needed for an arrest.
- **Vernon Tubbs:** Record. Talk to people if you know them and let them know what was wrong, and report it if you can't handle it with a chat.
- Letting people get away with things reinforces what they are doing.
- Tickets and reports will get these things handled to keep the RP good in the community.
