## William Hayes / General
- We have a few months worth of funds at the current costs.
- We have over 1000 people in the Discord and almost the same amount on the forums.
- 375 people are whitelisted for the server.
- Thank you all for your support and your patience.
- RedM is still in a very unfinished state. The official release has put on the pressure, but many things still aren't complete or stable that would be required.
- We will keep everyone updated on our developments and those of RedM's state.
- There are still things we can't fully give answers on with the State of RedM and the progress of development of certain things.
- Don't forget about the suggestion forum if you want to provide additional input to help shape the server/community.
- We provide reponses as available.
## Johnboy Cavanagh (CA Lead)
- Reshared the form for questions.
## Government/Law Discussion (Frank Devine)
- There's a constitution that handles how elections and positions work.
- Smaller jurisdictions will be given to sheriffs in the future that are elected.
- Down the line there will be city charters and people could petition to form a local government around a city.
- This won't exist at launch.
- State Marshals Office will take care of the Sheriffs and root out corruption.
- Mr. Emmett Stone will be the first State Marshal.
- There will be openings for State Marshal applications: https://wildwestrp.com/forums/law-enforcement.44/ (Limited slots, but feel free to apply!)
- They already have a framebook and handbook set and being improved on.
- State Marshals will likely be transferred to the first Sheriff and Sheriff department positions.
- Criminal Offenses will be Jail Time at first.
- After the economy is going strong, a fine based system will be introduced.
- Allowing the payment of fines to shorten jail times.
- Allowing some crimes to be just fined.
- Hangings and Death are still in talks for offenses. Very serious offenses will result in hangings.
- Once we launch there will be a trial period where we adjust to suit the community's needs and feedback.
## Law Q/A (With Frank Devine, Jenryll Gattington, Johnboy Cavanagh)
- How will Bounty Hunters work?
- Bounty Hunter License
- Issued by Government and Law Enforcement.
- Bounty communication from the Government and Law.
- Bringing them in alive will be the goal.
- You are still legally liable if you jump someone without allowing them to surrender and if you were to kill them.
- You have a set time limit to bring them in. If they pass that, they are an outlaw and anyone can bring them in.

- It says you need to be 18 to be a State Marshal, but will accepts be made for maturity?
- For now it will be left at 18, but some case by case exceptions may be made for people really close.
- Sheriff Departments may be able to be relaxed a bit more to allow for mature people.
- We want to start the server as best as possible RP wise.
- How many State Marshal positions will there be? Will there be a term limit or rotation?
- There will be 15 right now.
- There isn't a rotation setup currently. As long as people are active and doing a good job, they will be able to hold their positions.
- State Marshals are mainly a placeholder for the open for when Sheriffs become the day to day Law Enforcement.
- The Marshals will only step in to handle big events and corruption after the Sheriffs are established.
- Will duels be legal?
- If two people agreed to a duel, then sure.
- As long as there is proof of the duel it will likely not be charged.
- Different Sheriff's offices and towns may not allow duels in town or fine for it.
- Using duels to get around server rules and without RP will get you removed.
- What kind of weapons will Law Enforcement have at their disposal?
- A repeater, higer end revolver, cuffs (under discussion), some thrown item, and a knife.
- A horse will be issues.
- Camping supplies will be issues.
- Will there be a specific playtime requirement for Law Enforcement?
- There isn't a specific one currently.
- If the person is inactive and shows no interest, they will be removed.
- What communication will be available?
- Only the things that would be in the time-period.
- There are plans for a telegraph system (Discussed in a previous meeting here: https://i.imgur.com/u2gkCRR.png).
- For alerts like robberies and whatnot, it would be a message on screen, but people would RP it like people hearing about it through passing locals and whatnot.
## Dev Q/A (With Billy McGee)
- What will the Character Customization be like?
- It will be customizable, somewhat like online in options, but not as detailed.
- Currently the names of items aren't found out yet as they are just alphanumerical hashes.
- We have a basic customization period currently.
- What region for the servers?
- We are using servers out of OVH Beauharnois that give great ping to North America and a decent (100ms or so in the UK) ping to those across the pond.
- Is there a community/development roadmap?
- Nothing public currently.
- Will there be scheduled maintenence?
- Updates will be done as needed.
- We use separate development servers and databases so we can just quickly run updates on the main servers.
## General Q/A (With Jonboy Cavanagh)
- What are the rules on State-Wide RP (Areas of RP)?
- We don't have any forced areas of RP.
- The Marshals will stay away from New Austin unless they are in a posse to get an outlaw. It's essentially the Untamed West.
- There will be Areas on the map that will be more difficult to go to and reasons not to go to them, maybe disease or extreme weather.
- Are there going to be doctors or medics?
- There isn't a mechanic for it in place at the moment, but you could do it with RP.
- We currently don't have a medical system in place that would require whitelisted or dedicated medics/doctors.
- Will there be jobs for store positions or just NPCs?
- You can RP as a barman or shop-owner, but there will be nothing coded in for it directly.
- Is there going to be a training system, perhaps someone to head a ranch that spends time breeding and training horses for specific specs etc for people to buy from or will there just be a similar buying system like the stables in Red Dead Online? (Riley Marlowe).
- Stables would be the current system and plan.
- Will there be a US Army?
- No plans on it currently.
- Will there be seasons (chapters)?
- We will keep the server and general RP free-flowing. We don't plan on resetting things constantly.
- We don't have regular plans to do resets. We want what characters to evolve both themselves and the server/community.
- What will be the ways to make money?
- Generic Jobs like collecting, deliveries, hunting, etc.
- Criminal jobs down the line depending on what is possible.
- Players trading money for goods and services.
- Will you be able to sell meat to the butcher?
- Down the line, yes. That is the plan.
- Will there be jail/bounty wagons?
- We don't know the limitations currently. For example, if you want to punch another player you have to have a status that would stop you from getting on the same vehicle/horse.
- This is not decided currently with the RedM limitations.
## Aiming Reticle Discussion
- Asking about additional opinions about aiming reticles.
- Currently hiding the aiming dot is tied to other hud elements and can't be hidden directly.
## Development (With Billy McGee)
- Current things we have:
- Character Creation
- Inventory
- Animations for fires, eating and drinking
- Stables
- Small jobs
