--- tags: WWRP --- # WildWest RP Community Meeting Notes | 02/02/2020 (4pm-5:30pm EST) --- Meeting Notes --- __Attendants: (31 at 4:52pm)__ https://i.imgur.com/lqdNHFN.png Q/A (Lead by Johnboy Cavanagh) --- - **Can we make it so masks can be warn with hats?** - Currently you can wear - **Do you plan on adding the Guarma map?** - Not initially, no. - It's loaded off of the coast of the mainland, but we don't have plans for it currently. - You would play there and hide the main map and change the skybox. - Guarma is more designed for Single Player and likely won't be used. - **Can fur ponchos be made available for females?** - Unfortunately what is currently there is what currently works for the female characters. There is around 3 less for females compared to males. - **Will there be more horse breeds available in the stables?** - Yes. - **Can we hide the crosshair for more immersion?** - You can type `/hud` to hide your interface and crosshair. - You should also be able to hide just the reticle in your settings. - **Can you roleplay as a story related gang member?** - Dutch and his gang, as well as story events are off limits. - Lemoyne Raiders and Del Logos wouldn't be an issue as long as you don't include anything from the story. - **Can you add the clothing store to the character creator?** - It would be weird to have everyone able to change clothes anywhere. - We may add a default clothing to the created characters. - **Do you think the current outlaws are a bit too much? They attack the new players often and scare them off.** - After the first week or two of launch things have calmed down and the server has more of a balance. - The outlaws that are getting established are getting used to the flow of things and having more fun that being boring to the other players involved in their scenarios. - Outlaws need to remember, the server won't be fun for anyone if all the new players are scared off by being robbed for nothing. - You can always rob people for RP'd items like jewlery or gold teeth. - **What about adding some safezones?** - We don't want safezones, but heading into major cities and staying close to other and the law that can intervene. - If people just constantly rob to troll players and to gain nothing, feel free to report them. We have rules for excessive trolling. - There is always some sort of law online and friendly people you can be near and be safer with. This is the Wild West! - **Can dynamite be implemented in a constructive way, where it can be built or something?** - We removed dynamite as a throwable and don't have plans to add it back. - We may include it in events in the future, but it won't be a throwable. Think placing dynamite on a safe or something along those lines. - **Are there plans for doctors that can actually heal people?** - We have plans for futher down the line but it's a good Roleplay Scenario for now. - This isn't a priority currently, but down the line expanding the medical system is in the plans. - **Would it be possible to create several locations to run the creator?** - What we have now works. This is a quality of life change we will likely do down the line. - **Will gatling gun or cannons be a thing?** - No, along with snipers. They are bait for trolls to use. - The negatives outway the positives on them. - Maybe something for an event down the line, but for general use, no! - **Is there a chance to get working baths?** - We don't know currently. If it exists and is discovered, we will do it. - **When will be be getting land grants and deed?** - There are processes being worked on over the next few weeks. - This is something in the works. - Licenses and deeds that will allow the lawmen to help defend your property from trespassers and whatnot. - For popular buildings there may be an auction. - For now, doctor's offices are government run and people who are doctors can use them regularly, but travelling doctors will be allowed to use them too. - **Will there be any supercars added in the future?** - Joke answer: Only if you donate to ShredXT on Twitch. - The XT stands for Extra Thick - Real answer: No. - **Are bank robberies far down the line or soonish?** - It's very complex, so not soon. - We have to figure out how to make it fair for both sides. - The marshals can't get instant messages, so we have to find in roleplay and realistic ways to handle it. - Bank robbery events lead by staff may happen in the meantime. - You can always RP robbing a bank! - **Will you be able to get meat from skinned animals and actually get skins from small animals?** - What you see now is what is hardcoded. - We are working on interrupting this and expanding the system. - Meat is definitely an idea. - **What is the development team currently working on?** - Tack (horse customization) - Emotes - Fishing - Hunting - **Will gold panning be a thing?** - Eventually! - **What are the coins in the HUD used for?** - We won't give you in-game answers for what things do. - **Are jobs on the map _"public knowledge"_ to all players?** - Those marked jobs are known legal jobs. - Illegal jobs won't be marked and are meant to be spread by gangs and whatnot in RP. - **Will you allow or ban _"Gang Discords"_?** - If it's used to keep members organized and not used to metagame, that's fine. - Keeping information for the group could be helpful like to keep track of orders for a trading company. - **Will bounty hunters be restricted to 18+?** - There isn't a plan to do so currently. - We are looking at having a whitelisted system for it so it can be revoked. - Once in place, the law enforcement would give the licenses and communicate with the bounty hunters. - You would need to announce yourself and take them in alive. - You can only fire in self defense. - **Will the constituion be public?** - It was voted in, and there will be a signing ceremony for this in Saint Denis after this meeting. - It will be made public after that ceremony. - Judges will be appointed in the future, and court will likely be held in saloons or in the theatres in bigger towns. - Link: https://wildwestrp.com/threads/from-the-governors-office-laws-and-constitution-passed.764/ - **Is there a cap on the number of people involved in a situation?** - The posse size is 6. Dev Ideas --- - Add locations to restart the character creator instead of `/creator` anywhere. - Surgeon clinics, perhaps - Default clothes applied to the ped after the first run of the `/creator`. - A command that allows you to leave evidence at the scene, like some sort of text bubble. - For now a dead person could give that info with `/me` if they were told to.
