# 4.4 Result Export

- The following results can be exported from iPeriGrain:
1. The perimeters of segments.
2. The fitted ellipses.
- The output files are saved in "export" folder under workspace folder:
1. The perimeters of segments in ESRI SHP format (**perimeter.shp**).
2. The fitted ellipses in ESRI SHP format (**ellipse.shp**).
3. The fitted ellipses in plain txt, including a- and b-axes, center location, and rotation of a-axis (**par_ellipse.txt**).

**Note: the information of pixel size must be given before exporting results.**

### Information in SHP files
- It is recommendated to use ArcGIS or QGIS to access information in SHP files.
