As such, it decides your starting equipment. Someone from a militaristic origin might start with a sidearm, while someone from a high class life would have more initial luxuries. Additionally, this might cover some experience not on your background, such as having a spacer lifestyle could provide piloting knowledge like an explorer. <hr> ### Militaristic Your line of work was with some sort of combat regime or security company. Even without a combative background you can still shoot and aim a gun, but likely not as good as a dedicated soldier. People from a Militaristic origin start with: ### High Class You're used to being pampered, either due to pedigree or your own success. You're comfortable in high society and might have some idea when it comes to financing. People from a High Class origin start with: ### Spacer You worked on a spaceship, spacestation, in space, or maybe even on an asteroid belt. Whatever it is, you're used to environments many would call hazardous. People from a Spacer origin start with: ### Scientific Perhaps you worked as a lab assistant or a head researcher. Whatever it is, your main line of work leaves you knowledgeable in some subject much like the Specialist background. People from a Scientific origin start with:
