* [History of dance on camera](https://hackmd.io/oa6o02wbSauSYqDKVRwrSg?view)
* Objectives
* Key concepts
* Go over plan
(12:30-1:30) **Two Stations** (JS, MK, CC)
* Demonstration Filming - static shots (MK)
* Utilizing a close, medium, and wide shot aimed at a green screen, Marlon will teach students how to utilize different static shots to capture movement in a way that tailors focus to different parts of the body
* Creative Exploration Filming - moving shots (JS)
* Utilizing 2-3 cameras, students will practice filming traveling phrases, learning skills such as panning, following, and setting up interesting angles
(1:30-1:45) **Editing Stations** - potentially include in the two stations before?
* Making gifs from demonstration filming, stacking vetically
* Cutting between shots on final cut, creating horizontally
(1:45-2:30) **Creation Activity** (JS)
* In teams of 2 (Team Marlon vs. Team Jessi, pick buttons out of a hat), students will take our shared vocabulary from LROD's phrase and create "competing" dance film studies:
Team Marlon: dance-research film installation that breaks down LROD's phrase vocabulary to create a "dictionary" for the phrase
Team Jessi: explorative dance film that performs LROD's phrase chronologically, switching between angles and cameras.
(2:30-2:45) **Show, Tell, Feedback**
Using our version of Liz Lerman's critical response process, Christine will lead a talk-back discussion with each group of artist where they will recieve feedback from the audience and answer questions pertaining to their piece.
