Starting today, we're kicking of a **5 Day Govrn Product Palooooooooooza** 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!!

### What's a Govrn Product Paloooooooooza?

We want to do a sprint where everyone on the team to contribute to the different product features, enhancements, improvements, and/or bugs.

The goal is for you to generate as many ideas as you can for things to work on. Idea's should be submitted by creating One Pager Product Docs and linking to them on the bottom of this page.

### How do I come up with ideas?

Great question! What I'd recommend is that for this 5 day period, you make it a priority to start recording your contributions using Kevin Malone and v1 as well as attesting to others contributions. See what the routine is you need to create to regularly report contributions.

Just by using v1, you'll stumble upon a ton of good ideas.
- Hint: I would even say that each idea you generate is a contribution of it's own that should be recorded.

At the end of the 5 day period, we will review all ideas generating and choose the top ones we want to work on.

### What type of ideas should I generate?
- This should be small improvements or enhancements (e.g. better filtering on the Attestation feed). Things that could be designed, built, and implemented in 1.5 - 2 cycles.

- **Look for (bugs &) UX enhancements for v1 that will make it really easy to use.** Larger features will likely come up as well, but targeting those UX things that have impact on the use without significant specing needed.

### How much time should I spend on this? Where does it fall on my prioritization list?

Great question, for you to prioritize anything, you should always be deprioritizing something.

For only this 5 day period, we'd recommend looking at this like a third priority, or something that you maybe make a 10% time commitment (of your total Govrn committed time).
- You don't necesarilly need to be so strict and we trust your judgement. The goal is that you should feel empowered and accountable to generate these ideas for a 5 day period.

### Why are we doing this now?

In full transparency, I've (Aaron) need to catch up on some other operational type work (hr/legal/financial) and don't want to hold up or block product development.

In general, I think the whole team should be involved with generating new product ideas. This felt like a good opportunity to:
1. Create an open culture of anyone contributing product ideas.
2. Create a clear initiative and incentive for us to start dogfooding v1.
3. Come up with a whole host of different ideas we can start working on.

So we wanted to take advantage of the need for me to focus elsewhere and bring the rest of the team into this process.
