Oh you thought last summer was crazy for DAOs....
Then get ready for Hot DAO (Contributor) Summer.
Because, in a bear market, all their is to do is **show** your DAO contributions.
## The Narrative
*What is the narrative of our strategy*
If last summer was "Hot DAO Summer", this summer is "Hot DAO Contributor Summer".
We're building tools to empower contributors.
We're here to enable $0 treasury DAOs.
We're for the garage DAOs, that ones that have 10 people in a discord building.
We're here for the human DAOs, the ones making social movements rather than investing in metaverse real-estate.
We're here for the DAOs that don't depend on a Bull Market to survive.
We're here for the DAOs that are made of contributors coming together to change history, not the DAOs with money and no people.

- How many contributions are contributors managing through Govrn? How many different DAOs does one contributor manage through our portal
- If Govrn is here to empower contributors' contributions, this is what matters first.

1. **Contributions Staged** ➡️ 10% WoW Growth of Total Staged contributions
2. **Monthly Active Users/Retention** ➡️ 25% MAU
3. **Contributor/DAO Coefficient** ➡️ 2 (Each contributor is using Govrn for 2 DAOs)
4. **Activation Rate** ➡️ 30% Activation Rate from Sign Up to Usage

**Fall Season:**
- The Meme: Release the Floodgates
- The Narrative: Empower New DAO Contributors
- The Summer Season is about:
1. Painting the Govrn Vision
2. Building up a waitlist of new DAO Contributors
3. Optimizing and Fixing any Govrn Product and Protocol Issues
- Then we release the floodgates in the fall and let everyone start using Govrn
- This is also when we start enabling DAOs more.

## Strengths
- This matches our product roadmapping timeline
- Aligns with a meme from last year
- Aligns with the current market conditions
- Plays off the fact that while many DAOs are struggling to find footing, DAO contributors are still delivering value
- Gets people to think about the **value** contributors are creating rather than the **treasury**
- In a market that is starting to talk more about VCs and SBTs, this helps solidify Govrn's market position.
## Concerns
- A good amount of marketing required
- While this is beneficial for contributors, it does make delay some of the obvious value we could immediately provide DAOs
- Harder to sell to contributor than the DAO
## Notes:
- **Launching v1:**
- The focus of **v1 is to create a contribution management portal** for Contributors. Somewhere for them to see, own, and push to different DAOs
- **We want to be the place contributors go to manage their contributions**, and the place DAOs will come to manage their rewards.
- **To start v1 will be a limited release**, gating access to the product while we iron out bugs
- **Open the Information:**
- This should be accompied with a large release of information about Govrn. We've (previously) been good about releasing information on what we were building, but not good at marketing or trying to get that information out.
- We want to focus on creating a marketing machine that focuses to fixing the information gap that is akin to breaking down the berlin wall.
- Marketing is even the wrong mindset here, rather it's knowledge sharing. What is it we know? What is it about our knowledge that will make everyone's life easier? How can we make becoming a DAO contributor easier? How can we teach people about the use cases Govrn enables
- **Start Building v2:**
- If v1 is all about getting the Contributors to manage their contributions, v2 is going to make it easier for DAOs to accept/merge contributions.
- What is it that we can do to make it easier to use the Govrn Platform/Protocol?
- We flush out the Validity and Valudation Attestations
- What do these attestations mean? How can we push them? Are there where's for contributors to request them? What does managing these attestations look like?
