# Internal v1 Onboarding Sessions ## Goals: - Create onboarding and learning documents to be leveraged in running the "Learning Sessions" for key Boys Club Participants. - This is done via onboarding Lara who will create said artifacts. ## Sections 1. Report 1. Web App 2. Kevin 3. Contributions 1. Contributions 1. Contribution Types 5. Attestations 1. Attestation Feed 1. My Attestation 8. Profile 9. Process: Giving people access Future Enhancements: - v1 Dashboards - Multi DAO Select - Add DAO - Integrations All on Gnosis Chain or xDAI Instructions on how to get Gnosis Chain You get first dropped off on the contribution page. It's the home portal for all the contributions. There could also be integrations added after using Clarity (with complete status in Clarity task), that flows into Govrn portal with 'staging' status. When you upload, it gets 'staging' private contribution -- only you see it. You can edit or delete them. Anything you think is interesting but not sure if you want to mint. We follow a git workflow. Git tracks all the changes you make. It has all the changes you make. The first thing you do is you stage them. Then you commit them to a bigger repo. When you do something, it shows up at 'staging' Allows you to only see it. Once you have staged contributions, you can mint them. You can mint several at a time. Attribute to a DAO - we want people to report a contribtuion without a DAO in mind. e.g. what if we did something good to the ecosystem You can see on chain NFT - feature enhancement coming soon. Each column is a filter - you can sort by them. You can only edit so long as it's staged. You can delete them. Contribution NFTs are burnable (Feature in the future) Architecture behind contributions Contributions are the transactions People make those contributions and I report my contribution. Once I report it, it gets minted on chain as a NFT. When I report something to a DAO like Govrn, I am not changing any of the NFT data. What is happening on the protocol, is we are creating linkages. These linkages exist as separate data structures. This NFT becomes within the DAO circle. You can create as many linkages as you'd like at any point in time. You can push to as many DAOs as you want. That's why it's composable. DAO A accepts the contribution and the linkage gets made. Building a contribution graph to all the different things its contributing to. [Figma](https://www.figma.com/file/0M0dMrilwFco49ZHrEnDPH/Govrn-Lego-Cake-Diagram?node-id=0%3A1) Contributions details page name, status, dao, if there is proof you can add proof You can serach by contributions You can select as manny and mass attribute to a DAO or mass mint You need xDAI We will pay the gas fee You can view it on block explorer Whole point of v1 is to keep it functional v2 will have a design revamp When you move something to done status, it populates in your contribution portal as 'staged.' You will be staging everything Contributions are all linked and they make up the DAO ### Contribution Type Contribution Types is a rollup view of the types you make often so you better digest all the contributions you're making When you create a contriution, there is a activity type. High level contribution type. Request to attest is coming # Updating Tuesday August 16 - Day 2 ## Report Page Key features that Govrn works and runs. Key metrics we're measuring. How many contributions are we managing across staged and minted category. You can either report it or upload via some integration. e.g linear or clarity, as you move to done it moves to your portal. Report is the key action we want people to take. Think of the funnel - activation step is about the ahah moement where people realize the value of Govrn. Either at report stage or at the mint stage. Reporting is so important so want to make it as easy as possible. You want to create the least amount of friction to report something. Name of the contribution - naming it. Highlevel Atomic unit of a contribution - everyone can use different names for the same type of acticity you make. At the end, you're creating documentation or onboarding. Any pre defined activity set up on Govrn, they can list pre-defined activity types or ones you've previously saved. Allows you to also create a new activity type. hybrid model - DAO defines a couple pre defined ones and you can also define some On a regular basis, acticity types individuals created to be surfaced to the DAO and allow them to accept it to their standardize type of activities Better high level categorization of work you're doing Contributions tab and types, it's the activity type Details - 2-3 lines of details. Make it concise. May who you did it with. When people start attesting, for people to understand how much value they're giving you, they should look at the details. In the furure, you can use an attachment Associate with Govrn Will be updated Multiple Selects in the future as well as adding a DAO not listed here yet You can select none, add 1 or multiple in the future Name and activity type are the only required ones Dates can be added after too You can also use Kevin Malone 1. Can do in the server by following the link Name Activity Description Date 2. Through DMs 3. /report In the future You can report contributions for any DAO DAOs can accept new contributions Other important way, if you go to Boys Club discord and ran /join, it will create that linkage for Kevin Malone You can add a new DAO to v1 Add DAO feature on Kevin Malone - add a new DAO to Govrn that's not yet onbaorded to Govrn Copy ID from server and add Testing the flow out first Mention for Boys Club - whether you met expectation - description - contribution Instead whether they met expectation, they'd say contribution 1 and then say met expectations ## Attestations Page Has 2 parts 1. Attestations Feed 2. My attestations First type is verification attestation. The idea that you attest whether this thing is a verified contirbution DAOs can set up a verification framework which has requirements for what type of verification attestations a contribution needs to receive for it to be a verified contribution. DAOs can set up 2 frameowkrs 1. Verification Framework 2. Valuation Framework 1. Creates requirment for verification attestations on what is considered a legitimate contribution e.g. For this contribution to be verified and be accepted, this frameowork is a rule. It needs to recevie at least 10 attestations from dao members. (verified contribtuion) You need to meet ther requirements 2. Value assignments This is how we determine how valuable it is needs a verfication attestation from a dao member but we take the value assignenets from everybody. Value assignments - is more complicated to build in a composable way. Taking our time in doing that. Veriication is simpler. Attesttation feed is to attest if things happened or not Can Sort columns You can only see DAOs that you've joined for Attestations (DAOs you're associated with) In v2, we'll be adding value assignments to this whole process Protocol - TECs praise bot - you can give complements out. Praise bot is a bot where you give praise for work other people have done. Gives a report of work from the eyes of other people. Integrate with praise bot -- DAOs can use praise bot and when you give someone praise 1. Creates stage contirbution for me if Aaron says i've done it and creates attestation 2. creates linakges on the protocol Attestations has two tabs 1. Feed of all attestations I can attest to ## Profile Page Inegtations we have as you move things to done, will show up v2 in Oct will improve ## Part I removed from Boys Club transition but want to save since lit notes The first type of attestation is a verification attestation. This means you attest to whether it is a verified contribution. DAOs can set up a verification framework which has requirements for what type of verification attestations a contribution needs to receive for it to be a verified contribution. DAOs can set up 2 frameworks: 1. Verification Framework 2. Valuation Framework **Verification framworks** creates requirements for verification attestations on what is considered a legitimate contribution e.g. DAO A can set the following framework for a contribution to be verified and accepted -- there needs to be at least 10 attestations from DAO A members. You'll need to meet their requirements. **Value assignments** are how we determine how valuable the contribution is.
