He explains that the weekly executives have been following an [unofficial bi-weekly schedule](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/2021-07-23-executive-and-ongoing-participation-issues/9500) as long as one of the executives don’t contain anything bulky or urgent. @Derek from PECU (Protocol Engineering Core Unit) [published](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/protocol-engineering-governance-and-evolution/10041) a very elegant consensus by the entire PECU Team. He explains how governance-related decisions now bind the PECU. As the Core Unit continues to scale with its members growing and beginning to wear different hats, it’s essential to abide by the PECU core mandate.
