We're now posting a high level overview of the Governance and Risk call ahead of the high fidelity call summary. # Team Updates ## Smart Contracts - The team is working on a priority sheet for collateral types that are passing Greenlight Polls. - The team performed full code review of [MIP 21 RWA](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip21-real-world-assets-off-chain-asset-backed-lender/3917/7) and [MIP 20 Vox](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip20-target-price-adjustment-module-vox/3196/64) and think they can move forward for voting. - This month COMP, LINK, and LRC were added as collateral types. - Reviewed tUSD adapter implementation. It looks good and we'll try to get that into Friday's Executive. - Internal work on documentation around collateral onbording. Possible teams may be forming in the future. - Tentative collateral types for this cycle are: YFI, BAL, UNI, renBTC, LEND, PAXG, GUSD. Some may potentially move to a weekly cycle for collateral onboarding. - Christopher Mooney, Wil Barnes, Lucas Manuel, and Brian McMichael were officially ratified as smart contract domain team members! Congrats! ## Oracles - Whitelisting proposals passed: Kyber, DDEX, custom job for OPYN, Yearn finance. - No new proposals for this week. - Working on collateral types for October. ## Risk - @Primož officially onboarded as a Risk Domain Team. Congrats! - Developing new framework for risk evaluations to be more agile. Defining roles and attracting more people to join and use the framework to preform risk evaluations. - Risk evaluation for Balancer and Yearn collateral types will be released next week. - Risk evaluations for LEND and PAXG will be delayed. - Collaborating with other domain teams on collateral prioritization framework with a focus on high potential to generate DAI, difficulty, and risk associated with onboarding. ## Collateral Onboarding Calls - Advancing on the front of Real World Assets. There was a call yesterday with with @Sebventures and other working group members. - [Next Collateral Call is Oct 7 at 17:00 UTC](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/agenda-discussion-collateral-onboarding-call-10-wednesday-october-7-17-00-utc/4368) with @brian-CACHE from @cache.gold and @mhluongo, from Keep Network presenting tBTC. - Following week an extra call on Oct 14 with renBTC. ## MIPs - [MIPs monthly execute bundle](https://vote.makerdao.com/executive-proposal/approve-september-2020-governance-cycle-bundle--september-28-2020) consisting of 7 proposals went live on Monday, passed on Tuesday and was executed on Wednesday. All proposals are formally accepted. - Next week is the beginning of the October governance cycle. Proposals in RFC phase that are eligible to to enter the cycle are encouraged to be formally submitted by Monday, October 5. - Greenlight Polls end on Monday, October 5. - Collateral onboarding process is changing: MIPs [8](https://github.com/makerdao/mips/blob/master/MIP8/mip8.md), [10](https://github.com/makerdao/mips/blob/master/MIP10/mip10.md), [11](https://github.com/makerdao/mips/blob/master/MIP11/mip11.md), [12](https://github.com/makerdao/mips/blob/master/MIP12/mip12.md) will be temporarily suspended effective immediately. ## Communuity Development - Community Development Portal is launching soon.
