We're posting a high-level overview of the Governance and Risk call ahead of the high fidelity call summary very week. ## Team Updates ### Smart Contracts with @cmooney - No executive spell last week! No parameters changed. - PAXG assessment was [published in July](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/paxg-erc20-token-smart-contract-domain-community-assessment/3443) by @befitsandpiper - ETH-B collateral type [deployed on Kovan](https://github.com/makerdao/spells-kovan/pull/22), working on getting it to Mainnet - [Liquidations 2.0 discussion call](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMSusgznlYk) took place yesterday, Smart Contracts team is working to get the code complete. - BAL, YFI, possibly PAXG will be going on Kovan next week. ### Oracles - Performed BAL and YFI oracle assessments, will be releasing into production next week. Team is on track to get onboarding done for an executive at the end of the month. - Working on UNI LP token oracle and potentially deploying into production in November with conservative debt ceiling. - Plan to model Balancer oracle after UNI one. ### Risk - GUSD and PAXG evaluations are getting finalized. - The risk domain team is focusing on new assets with the prioritization framework, with UNI and REN ranking the highest. The team started assigning those evaluations. - Collateral evaluation template is getting finalized and will hopefully attract more analysts. - [Increasing Surplus Buffer discussion](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/discussion-increasing-surplus-buffer/4644) is still going on. ### Operations and Community Development - Announced [fellowship between Kleros and Maker:](https://blog.kleros.io/kleros-maker-fellow-on-decentralized-finance/) - [Kleros](https://kleros.io/) is a decentralized decision making protocol.
