In accordance with the rules laid out by the Endgame Plan, this MetaDAO would be fully decentralized from its creation, and governance will be completely in the hands of holders of the MetaDAO's tokens, which will be widely distributed via a farming program. The team will initially focus on achieving two primary goals: Use tailored investment strategies that contribute toward "arresting climate change," and contribute to the integration of DeFi/CeFi/TradFi. > [**Updating the short-term bond strategy?**](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/updating-the-short-term-bond-strategy/18302) In this post, @SebVentures of the Strategic Finance Core Unit shared some thoughts on adjusting MakerDAO's short-term bond strategy to increase revenues and become profitable. His approach proposes: * Targeting a shorter duration to avoid credit risk and scale more aggressively * Prioritizing deploying generic investment platforms like MIP65 --- ## Seeking Consensus ‘Yo, do you even signal?’ > [**Offboarding YFI**](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/signal-request-offboarding-yfi/18301) While it generated more than 70 million DAI at its peak, YFI utilization dropped heavily in May, reaching zero utilization in August. Given this state of affairs, the funds being spent on running the oracles required to maintain YFI as a collateral type are being wasted. This Signal Request asks voters whether YFI should be offboarded to cut down on expenses. This Signal Request will run until October 21st at 10pm UTC. > [**MIP65 Asset Reallocation**](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/signal-request-mip65-asset-reallocation/18295) This Signal Request proposes the following allocation of the DAI 500M reserved under MIP65: ![](https://i.imgur.com/DJ5dBen.png) This allocation is aimed at addressing two primary considerations: corporate bond performance under a recession and general market volatility.
