<details><summary>DAIF CU Update - Q1 2022</summary><br>
[Link](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/daif-cu-update-q1-2022/14486)
Hello all
Note: There is a [Spot On: Dai Foundation Core Unit Update on April 13th, 2022 at 15:00 UTC](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/focus-on-9-dai-foundation-core-unit-update/14349).
Please join for having a dialogue with questions and comments to what you can read in this one-way communication
Here is the DAIFCU update for the past quarter:
Getting assets into use for the DAO
The formal process for requesting content manager access to an asset owned by Dai Foundation is now in order with the approved [MIP60: Intangible Asset Assignment](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip60-intangible-asset-assignment/10319).
Huge Thanks to GovAlpha and in particular to [@LongForWisdom](https://forum.makerdao.com/u/longforwisdom) for driving this!!!
Having the canonical Asset Registry published to Github is still pending but should be in order soon. In the meantime all assets, that you can request access to, can be seen at [https://assets.daifoundation.org/ 1](https://assets.daifoundation.org/)
We are working with [@techops-core-unit](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/techops-core-unit) to setup a single point of entry for change requests against assets that already have been allocated (like adding more users, utility-apps, changing IP target and so on) to ensure more effective operations, that the asset registry always is up to date, and that we have an audit trail for the changes happening.
We have still to see the first use of MIP60. In the interim process that GovAlpha devised prior to formal approval of MIP60 content management rights to the following assets have been assigned
- <https://github.com/makerdao/governance-manual> to GovAlpha CU
- <https://github.com/makerdao/mcd-collateral> to CES CU
- <https://twitter.com/MakerDAO> to Growth CU
- <https://unified-auctions.makerdao.com/> to Sidestream Auction Services CU
In this connection, it is really great seeing how [MakerDAO Twitter](https://twitter.com/MakerDAO) has been brought to life again!
There are still a number of SoMe accounts and notably the [makerdao.com](http://makerdao.com/) website and its blog that are without content managers - I'm hoping the initiatives to create a Marketing CU bears fruit as having an effective presence in a broad number of communication channels also helps to protect and maintain the MAKER and DAI trademarks.
Board member requirements
We have been preparing for addition of new members to the board including the two Maker Governance appointed members of the Dai Foundation board. This includes documenting what in general is expected from a board member to align expectations with potential candidates. We will present the state of this work on the [Dai Foundation update call on April 13th, 2022](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/focus-on-9-dai-foundation-core-unit-update/14349).
Copyright and Software Patents
We have responded to various questions regarding how to allocate software copyright to Dai Foundation, and we acknowledge that more guidance is needed here going forward.
The question of whether and how patented software can integrate with MakerDAO also came in connection with [MIP66: Pairwyse Licensure](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip66-pairwyse-licensure/13554). There was outreach to DAIF CU regarding this to understand what role Dai Foundation might play in relation to software patents. As part of this discussion and the fact that a pledge was being put forward in the MIP, the board agreed to have a Software Patent subject matter expert to perform a basic and general pledge review. To ensure the considerations have general applicability; it is Google's Open Patent Non-Assertion Pledge [that has been reviewed](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip66-pairwyse-licensure/13554/29). Note: Reporting the analysis result should neither be seen as an endorsement from DAIF CU of the full MIP nor the opposite.
Many probably knew this already, but the work with the pledge review has emphasized that software patents is a sensitive and multi-faceted topic. Analysis of a legal pledge doesn't answer whether it in general is to be recommended for MakerDAO to work with/integrate to/support solutions that include software patents. Whether a general MakerDAO stance on software patents in relation to the Maker Protocol can and should be defined is still to be explored. Dai Foundation is ready to take a stab at facilitating further community dialogue and analysis on this topic in the coming quarter.
Trademarks
Some of the trademarks received from MakerDAO are still in process for final approval. One such mark was MAKER VAULT where we had to provide "proof of usage" by Jan 21, 2022.
There is per se no distinct product usage of MAKER VAULT and the documentation we provided was not accepted so the mark was not granted. Since we firmly own the MAKER trademark it is my assessment that we are well positioned to protect against any use of MAKER VAULT that infringes on MakerDAO so no further action is planned here.
We also have the MAKERCON and STABLECON marks requiring proof of usage with a deadline in June 2022 and I will engage relevant CU's to see whether we can provide acceptable proof of usage for these marks before then.
Further, there has been an outreach to DAIF CU regarding a potential infringement on MakerDAO from another party. What we are doing as a result of this is:
- Checking trademark status for the other party with our trademark lawyers
- Research to assess the impact of the other party on MakerDAO
- Are they trying to utilize MakerDAO trademarks to scam users?
- Are they utilizing the trust of our trademarks to promote their products and services?
- To what degree does actual confusion happen?
- Consult with stakeholders to
- Get input for the above research
- Understand to what degree this is something that we need to act on, and whether we might solve this w/o legal action
- Potential informal outreach to the party that is investigated for infringement
Once we have gone through the above points we will share our findings.
Conferences
In the last quarter I did attend ETHDenver as DAIF CU facilitator where I had good discussions with many community members about the topics above and many other MakerDAO/Dai Foundation related things. I will also attend DevConnect in Amsterdam April 18-21, 2022. Please ping me if you are attending and have any Dai Foundation topics that you want to discuss.
Facilitator workload
When the DAIF CU was proposed it was estimated that the facilitator workload only involved spending time participating in various Community/Governance coordination meetings and activities and reporting to the community about deliverables. However, time also needs to be spent on stakeholder inquiries and their background plus operational matters researching, planning and working with TechOps, Trademark Lawyers and other service providers on execution and implementation. To be able to move satisfactory forward with the DAIF CU tasks more time is allocated to the facilitator task for a limited period. In Q3 it will be evaluated on how to handle the operational tasks going forward, including identifying any nice-to-do tasks that can be discarded going forward.
Budget reporting
DAIF CU is providing manual monthly reporting on actual spend to the Strategic Finance CU, and we have also provided input to/supports the SF template that aims to roll up and present everything to the DAO at the 'expense type' level. We are all for transparency so we will also evaluate whether DAIF CU meaningfully can participate in all or parts of [the monthly budget reporting and auditing as proposed by SES CU.](https://youtu.be/3j9Fc-QEsHE?t=1168)
As for the budget status, we are currently below our budget. Having agreements with most of our core service providers now and some requiring more than budgeted I expect us to come more in line with the budget going forward. You are welcome to join our update call for more details and any questions...
Many of the above themes will continue to require work in Q2. Some additional themes for future work items are:
Makerdao Github
Dai Foundation agreed to temporary caretaking of the makerdao github project when Maker Foundation was dissolving. The mandate of Dai Foundation is not to provide software development operational services, but rather to ensure IP ownership. Before looking to hand over the operational aspects to another party Dai Foundation will perform cleanup and classification activities for the current content in the github project as well as introduce tools and processes to facilitate handing copyright over to Dai Foundation for new protocol software and related software/content. More details will be posted separately in the forum when we are ready.
Ensuring DAO access to assets funded by the DAO
While smooth access to the assets handed over from Maker Foundation it is as important to ensure that new assets created and maintained by MakerDAO funding generally become public goods for the DAO. Providing tools and guidance for how CU's can assign IP rights of public good assets to the Dai Foundation will be a priority going forward. DAO operations should not be endangered due to IP rights disappearing when a CU/facilitator is off-boarded as we saw indications of with the [involuntary Content Production CU offboarding](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/content-production-core-unit-offboarding-post-mortem/13756).
Dai Foundation grants
Due to the legal basis of a Danish non-profit foundation we are obliged to offer grants.
The board has agreed to set up a request for grants for a scientific paper that analyzes different ways DAOs handle their IP and discusses different ways the DAO/IP relationship can evolve.
That was what I had for now. As always feel free to reach out with questions here or 1-1
All the best\
Your DAIF CU Facilitator

Data Insights CU 2021 - 2022 summary
====================================
In order to request the budget renewal for 2022 - 2023, Data Insights Core Unit (DIN-001, DICU, [@data-insights-cu](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/data-insights-cu)) we present the review of the current 6 month budget allocation (4 out of 6 have elapse a the time of writing).
The purpose of this is to determine the accuracy and effectiveness of our initial request and therefore to better help define our proposed allocation going forward. We welcome comments and questions on any of the below.
We have made use of the structure that Derek and PECU prepared for their own review, we appreciate their work. We will expand the section of "Core Unit Accomplishments" to better informing the community when it comes to the Request For Comment (RFC) stage of our updated [mandate](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip39c2-sp31-update-data-insights-core-unit-mandate/13790) and [budget](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/mip40c3-sp64-add-data-insights-core-unit-budget/13791).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The core of our work is the creation and maintenance of datasets that are complete, decoded, clean and contextualised. A main challenge we solve for the community is abstracting away the complexities of querying the blockchain directly. We cover different domains and perspectives.
Our main datasets:
- Vaults
- Liquidations (collateral auctions)
- Surplus auctions
- Governance votes
- Governance delegates
- Protocol parameters
We're open to build any dataset to empower the community, we encourage anyone to reach out to us.
Different perspectives (or views) of the same dataset enable users more direct access to insights. For example, when it comes to querying the Data API for vault data you can:
- [Get vault actions](https://data-api.makerdao.network/redoc#operation/read_vault_history_v1_vaults_vault_history__vault__get)
- [Get vault ownership](https://data-api.makerdao.network/docs#/experimental/read_vault_ownership_v1_experimental_vault_ownership_get) (including origin, such as "DeFiSaver")
- [Get all vaults historical daily snapshot](https://data-api.makerdao.network/docs#/experimental/read_vault_history_daily_v1_experimental_vault_history_daily_get)
- [Get vault's snapshot at a specific block/time](https://data-api.makerdao.network/docs#/vaults/read_vault_snapshot_v1_vaults_vault_snapshot__vault___timestamp__get)
[](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#data-delivery-method-4)Data Delivery method
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In order to make data accessible to everyone, regardless of technical and domain knowledge, we provide access to our datasets through a variety of methods:
1. API
2. GUIs & Dashboards
3. Google Drive
4. Database shares
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#api-5)API
We built a [Data API service](https://data-api.makerdao.network/docs) using a popular python framework called FastAPI. We are constantly updating it, while striving to keep all endpoints well documented with request & response examples. The Data API can be used in a variety of ways, accessing data via a jupyter notebook to perform analyses, as well as using it as a backend service to populate a web-app. Registration is open to everyone, no permission is required. We apply rate limiting so if you require a higher threshold please get in touch with us.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#dashboards-6)Dashboards
For easy digestion of data, particularly for casual users, we have built two web-apps to track [Vaults](https://tracker-vaults.makerdao.network/) and [Governance votes](https://tracker-gov.makerdao.network/). The data displayed is easy available for download via the UI itself. We have recently added the end-of-day [historical snapshots of vaults](https://tracker-vaults.makerdao.network/history) and the historical change of [protocol parameters](https://tracker-gov.makerdao.network/protocol_parameters).
We have also been creating dashboards to aid reporting and analyses, particularly Google Data Studio for the [Delegates Compensation](https://datastudio.google.com/s/onlfAv8Hueo) and Tableau Public for the [Governance Overview](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/tadeo5490/viz/2021MakerDAOGovernance/GovernanceVoting) and [Flapper Keeper Activity](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/tadeo5490/viz/Flapper-KeeperActivity/FlapperKeepers).
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#google-drive-7)Google Drive
We currently provide datasets and analyses through spreadsheets, making it easy for functional stakeholders to interact with them. We can provide any dataset via this method upon request, automatically refreshed.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#database-shares-8)Database shares
We provide access to our hosted database through a "share" feature and read only user roles. This allows users with Snowflake accounts to access data directly using SQL, skipping the API. We want to go further and provide our datasets on the Snowflake Marketplace, thereby allowing anyone to consume our data in a *permissionless* manner.
Related to this, we are looking into tools such as Redash to allow users to access our data using SQL without the need of a Snowflake account.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#dao-collaboration-9)DAO collaboration
We value the benefit of collaborating with stakeholders across the protocol, we have had a special focus on Core Unit collaboration this past period.\
Aligned with the mission of empowering the entire community, we view our work with other CUs as two fold, it allows to magnify our impact through them and also serves as a experimentation ground for the needs across the community.
Below is a selection of the collaboration in this past period:
- GovAlpha\
- Backend for Protocol Parameters UI\
- Data feed for Delegate Compensation\
- Analysis of Ranked Polls behaviour\
- Growth\
- Reporting metrics for Quarterly Strategy Review\
- Risk\
- Data provision through API & Snowflake\
- StarkNet\
- Gas Consumption\
- Strategic Finance\
- PoC reporting metrics for Quarterly Strategy Review\
- Data provision through Snowflake\
- SES\
- Data feed for MKR Compensation Cookie Cutter
We look forward to expanding our collaboration across the protocol, improving existing relationships and fostering new ones.
We invite the entire community to reach out to us, particularly delegates as we believe we can help with the increase need to digest massive amounts of data.
[](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#h-2021-2022-expenditure-summary-10)2021 - 2022 Expenditure Summary
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The initial budget started in November 2021 and will end in April 2022, included. Given that the review is being done at the beginning of March, the values for both March and April are estimations and will be confirmed once the period is finalised.\
The total budget for the running of DICU for 6 months has been of 367,000.00 DAI.

The main difference between the forecast and actuals is driven by a lower than expected cost of infrastructure (overestimation & constant optimization) and operations (no entity incorporation). The excess of funds will be returned to the protocol.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#team-costs-12)Team costs
We initiated the CU with 1x Facilitator and 2x Data Engineers. We had planned to hire a part time front-end developer but through the course of the period realised we were able to better serve the protocol by focusing on building the data foundations, collaborating with CUs building front-ends and a preference for multi-displinary, full time collaborators that will help build solid human foundations.
We just recently hired a Full Stack Engineer.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#data-costs-13)Data costs
We contract the services of Token Flow for the provision of on-chain data. This is set to a fixed cost, enabling us to have full predictability and the ability to experiment without additional costs.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#infrastructure-costs-14)Infrastructure costs
Our services & products are built using a combination of Snowflake (managed database) and AWS (hosting for orchestration service and graphical user interfaces). These services are set to pay-per-use, we monitor and optimize them on an ongoing basis.
Budget surplus/excess of funds: driven by the lower than expected Snowflake costs and the optimizations on AWS to reduce overhead. This is also a reflection of lower than expected usage of our services, a topic that we aim to resolve through better commucation and direct engagement with the community.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dicu-2021-2022-financial-year-in-review/13961#operational-costs-15)Operational costs
Initially referred to as "Other costs (outsourced)". This is mainly driven by our professional services company who provides us legal, accounting and payment services. Gas fees for operating the multi-sig are also included.
Budget surplus/excess of funds: driven by not incorporating a new legal entity, thereby not necessitating the initial funds and lower ongoing expenses.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are proud of the work we have done in the past period, we believe we have provided tangible value to the protocol. We have much more to do so we look forward to contributing to the protocol in the foreseeable future.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Deco on Maker core codebase, because of intense effort, is complete. It has also been subject to refactoring to simplify the Maker integration. Documentation is also completed and available [here](https://docs.deco.tech/#/integrations/maker-vaults). At this point, we have completed both the DSS-Gate sandbox development as well as completing the core Deco on Maker integration. DSS-gate was first presented during the Governance and Risk call in January and has now been delivered to PE. PE will take stewardship over the DSS-Gate contracts moving forward. The initial audit of the core integration has been completed by ChainSecurity and validates the integration design, implementation, and functionality. The final audit report will be uploaded to the documentation repository when available.

> Thanks for reading the monthly update of the DUX (Development & UX) Core Unit! These updates serve as a vehicle for transparency with regards to our work and focus. We aim to stick to the format suggested by [@Artem_Gordon](https://forum.makerdao.com/u/artem_gordon) of [@gov-comms-core-unit](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/gov-comms-core-unit). In addition to these lower-timeframe updates we do quarterly roadmap updates on the Forum. =======================================================================================================================================================================================
Last month we finally got to launch the refactored codebase of the Governance Portal, which contained months of effort. In addition to one more feature-focussed release after that, we've made some serious progress on a few R&D projects we have been working on. Also, we have been increasingly collaborating with other Core Units such as GovAlpha, TechOps, and Immunefi Security. Lastly we have been spending a lot of time defining our roadmap focus for Q2 2022 through internal conversation but also cross-CU coordination. Let's dive in!
[](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dux-monthly-update-march-2022/14364#gift-product-updates-2) Product updates
============================================================================================================================================================================================
We launched two updates to the Governance Portal this past month. In addition we have been progressing on R&D projects that involve more complex features that also require cross-Core Unit collaboration.
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dux-monthly-update-march-2022/14364#governance-portal-updates-3)Governance Portal updates
First and foremost, we shipped the biggest ever update to the Governance Portal codebase. The update involved a code refactor focussed on replacing key dependencies on deprecated libraries, refactoring a lot of data fetching & handling mechanisms, and introducing a new testing suite. More details on this refactor can be found here.
In a few days we'll ship another update which is more feature-focussed. It includes the long-awaited *'On-Chain Effects'* feature for easily digging into the impact of executive spells on the Maker Protocol. The update also includes *'Share your Vote'*, which aims to decrease the gap between the Governance Portal and the Governance Forum, *and* make the lives of recognized delegates a bit easier by simplifying the UX of sharing comments/reasoning behind their poll votes. Expect the release this Tuesday and check the release notes to see what's new!
Lastly; be on the lookout for a redesigned landing page for the Governance Portal later this month
### [](https://forum.makerdao.com/t/dux-monthly-update-march-2022/14364#research-development-4)Research & Development
These past months DUX team has slowly shifted focus from isolated GovPortal work towards more research and cross-CU collaboration. We realised that the key to making an impact as a Core Unit is not solely in incremental improvements to the Governance Portal, but in identifying what's relevant to MakerDAO and other Core Units, in order to initiate/participate in larger initiatives that ultimately lead to improving the governance UX of Maker. This work is more complex and requires more long-term thinking and planning, as well as investing time and effort into research. By structuring this work in parallel to our main design & development sprints we're getting more comfortable with this renewed focus.
Here's what we have been working on this past month:
Further iterating on two potential implementations for gasless poll voting, which will soon be presented to GovAlpha. We hope to bring this to development in Q2 '22.

We formalised our collaboration with the [@techops-core-unit](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/techops-core-unit). Their team has been a backbone of our work for a long time through managing and monitoring critical infrastructure, as well as providing support in case of incidents. In addition to proving support when necessary, we will collaborate with TechOps to 1) further improve our Q&A setup, 2) expand and improve our monitoring system, and 3) further consolidate & optimise deployments. We're very excited about this collaboration and we're looking forward to learn from them.

These past weeks we have also been slowly putting together the roadmap for Q2 2022. Our aim has been to sync our roadmap with what's relevant at MakerDAO and what other Core Units are working on. A lot of the work will be in collaboration with [@GovAlpha-Core-Unit](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/govalpha-core-unit) for example, or will be related to the upcoming launch of multi-chain spells as part of the Maker Wormhole project. Be on the lookout for our quarterly roadmap spotlight update later this week!

[Devconnect](https://devconnect.org/) is just around the corner---a week-long conference in Amsterdam, organised by the Ethereum Foundation. We have our sights set on a sub-event called [Global Governance Gathering 1](https://www.thedaoist.co/event/ggg), organised by the folks at [The DAOist](https://www.thedaoist.co/). They delivered [an amazing event 1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5aUHWDU7jg) in Lisbon last year and have garnished a rich community of DAO governance thinkers and builders.
We are proud to announce that Maker DUX team is organising & facilitating a full-day design sprint workshop as part of Global Governance Gathering. We are also putting in a $6.5k sponsorship for the event, thanks to [@Growth-Core-Unit](https://forum.makerdao.com/groups/growth-core-unit) More info about the workshop will be shared soon.

Introduction
============
Hey everyone
On behalf of the DUX team I'm happy to share another quarterly update on our roadmap. The intention here is to share an elaborate forum post and pre-recorded walkthrough every three months, in which we'll wrap up the past quarter and commit to a focus for the next quarter. We'll touch upon prior commitments and the progress we've made, lessons learned, and the prioritised themes for our roadmap. Enjoy the read and please do reply below if you have questions or suggestions!
> Instead of reading, also consider watching [the recorded walkthrough 2](https://youtu.be/wk91jRpcqGg) below in which I'll talk you through this update.

================================================================================================================
It's been a good quarter for our Core Unit overall. We were able to do meaningful work, deepen our collaborations with other Core Units and further map out our roadmap based on where MakerDAO is going. In addition to the above we've had a fantastic team offsite in Denver, CO mainly centered around the ETHDenver conference.
> For those who are not yet familiar with the DUX (Development & UX) Core Unit, please head out to [our Notion website 1](http://dux.makerdao.network/).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the start of this year we defined our roadmap focus for Q1, which was centered around the following three themes (and one added 'surprise'):
 *Security*\
 *Scalability*\
 *Interactivity*\
 *(Landing page)*
In the list below you'll find the features/initiatives that we committed to specifically.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll start with the juicy bit; for sure we've overpromised... Looking back I think the prioritised themes made a lot of sense, but for some of the features/initiatives on this list I failed to estimate the amount of research and/or development efforts these would entail. We were able to deliver on the most important items (or at least make some good progress on them), but some of these items were left unstarted.
> Please refer to [the recorded voiceover 2](https://youtu.be/wk91jRpcqGg) for an elaborate rundown of each item's status!
...or get a sense of the progress by looking at the list below.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm proud to say that we're running a lot smoother and more efficient compared to Q4 '21. We've grown closer as a team, our processes have reduced friction & overhead, and overall we've found a dynamic that works. However as a fresh Core Unit (ratified September '21), we're still learning and adapting. Our biggest learnings from past few months are listed below.
- Don't overpromise on quarterly roadmap---focus and deliver!
- Real impact is achieved through (complex) cross-CU initiatives.
- Our product roadmap needs to be in sync with MakerDAOs trajectory and other CUs.
- We're happy with the Immunefi bug bounty program but we need to actively contribute to refining its scope and process.
> Please refer to [the recorded voiceover 2](https://youtu.be/wk91jRpcqGg) for an elaboration on each of these!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These past weeks we have been working to shape our roadmap for the upcoming three months. The intention was to align the roadmap with our sense of MakerDAO's current priorities, ongoing/planned work at other Core Units, and what's currently in progress at DUX. The resulting selection feels like the most relevant and impactful thing to work on, in addition to ongoing non-product-related initiatives.
Once again; refer to [the recorded voiceover 2](https://youtu.be/wk91jRpcqGg) for more details on each of the items included below.

=============================================================================================
I'll close off by saying we're proud to be part of this community and excited about the initiatives happening behind the scenes. As the project finds its way to success we'll remain flexible as a product team and continuously adapt our team's focus to whatever is important to MakerDAO. For now; we're heads down on our way to the next Governance Portal release.
Lastly, as always...
