# A Lil Nounish Clean Up in Kigali, Rwanda for 3.5ETH

Requesting for 3.5 ETH Grant to do "Keep Your City Clean - Lil Nounish Clean Up" Activity in Kayonza, Kigali, Rwanda on May, 27th 2023.


## A Lil Nouns IRL activation through "Keep your City Clean" campaign
### History:
[Nouns DAO Africa](https://twitter.com/nounsDAOAfrica) was inspired by the first Nounish beach cleanups by the Nounish Community in [Singapore](https://twitter.com/nounish/status/1617216274014310400?s=20) and got to clean our neighbourhood through [The Noun Square Competition](https://twitter.com/davinoyesigye/status/1562433784922148864) back in August 2022.

That lead to being Funded 2ETH to do a Clean Up in Kampala as a scale Up from the 0.25ETH Competition. Which was successfully carried out on the 24th September, 2022: under the brand **“Bulungi Bwansi: Keep your City Clean!”**

We then did another clean up in Kiambu, Nairobi, Kenya from a Prophouse Round 11 fund of 2ETH. Which was successfully carried out on the 29th October, 2022. and here are some photos from **“Harambe: Keep your city clean!”**

### Nouns DAO Africa wants to partner with Lil Nouns to continue these "Keep Your City Clean - Bulungi Bwansi, Harambee, Umuganda"

### What are you Organising?
We Shall organize a 15-25 Person team to do a 1 day/ Weekend cleanup with Fully Lil Nouns Branded Tshirts, Nouns Noggles and Conclude the day with a Nounish Food/ Pizza party In Kayonza, Kigali, Rwanda (1 Hr Drive from Capital City of Rwanda)

NOTE: We have so far completed Kampala, Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya. This is extending Nouns to Rwanda as we continue our journey of nounifying Africa. (Click Map to see Proposed Location)

NOTE: Its a culture in Kigali, Rwanda to do a massive clean-up of the country every last Saturday of the month, this activity is called **UMUGANDA**

Both Ugandan + Kenyan team are going to travel with a hired a Film and photography crew to capture all the clean up events and start to use Lil Nouns as an onboarding ramp into the Nouniverse

### When are you going to complete it?

We want to complete this event on the 27th, May 2023. The Role is to proliferate Nouns in Rwanda and get all participants to sign up for Lil Nouns News Letter + a Lil Nouns Themed POAP + teach how to mint 1 [bit nouns](https://www.bitnouns.wtf/)

Since Nouns are very expensive and may not be ideal for onboarding nounish frens in Africa, we feel that Lil Nouns through Bit nouns may be a better Nouniverse onboarding onramp.

Photo and Film Crew - 0.5 ETH
30 Safety Masks - 0.1 ETH
Nounish Reflectors - 0.1 ETH
Food Pizza Party at Local Restaurant / After Clean Up Get Together - 0.3 ETH
NDAF Transportation + Accomodation (UG + KE members only) - 1 ETH
