# AMP Migration

1. Shutdown site
2. Make a backup of the databases - MMD
3. AMCASDES
4. AMCASV2
5. amptucson
4. Copy the backups to the prod server -- MMD
5. Restore security accounts
6. Restore the databases to prod -- MMD
7. AMP does things
8. We give them IP adddresses they need
9. Run local backups to check maintenance plan includes the new databases -- MMD
10. Add to VEEAM backups -- Mario and Kevin

## From ZAP
Migration plan:
1. SCHOOL: Shut off site
2. SCHOOL: Make backup of AMP & AMCAS databases (on old/existing server)
3. SCHOOL: Restore backups of AMP & AMCAS databases on the new server
4. ZAP: Update connection string in Web Application & DES to point to new database
5. SCHOOL: Turn on site
6. ZAP + SCHOOL: Test
7. ZAP: Transfer DES Service
8. SCHOOL: We need your new IP Address
9. ZAP: export the SSL cert and install on the new server
