# Creative Brief - [Notary Project]

## Purpose / Background

We decided to use `Notary Project` as the new brand name for CNCF Notary project as explained in this [issue](https://github.com/notaryproject/.github/issues/43). So we want to change the [Notary Project logo](https://github.com/cncf/artwork/blob/master/examples/incubating.md#notary-logos) to include the word "Project".

## Design Suggestions

The original icon doesn't need any changes. Maybe we can refer to [Operator Framework](https://github.com/cncf/artwork/blob/master/examples/incubating.md#operator-framework-logos) project logo to add use "Notary Project" in the horizontal and stacked version.

## Creative Considerations & Distribution

The creative elements need to be flexible. The logo needs to be visible in single and multiple colors and scale so that it works at very small sizes. It will also be reproduced for printing, silkscreen, embroidery, and web.
